MLB season in America opens officially today, but for Red Sox fans it is a nightmare. Yes, my beloved’s first game of the year begins at 10:00 at night on the West Coast. Is that any way for the schedulers to treat the East coast faithfully? Especially up here where we have been holding our breath, eager to find out what is beyond the headlines and "experts” opinions about our youth-based team. The mahoffs of big-league sports are beginning to lose their minds. That is what happens when they only see dollar signs and forget about the hearts of fans. Or maybe it is just an algorithm thing. Where there is no heart at all.
Regardless of my woes, I will feel alive with the sound of cracks of bats and whacks in mitts.
