Today;s Tids Issue 5,892
Evolving:
Today is a day loaded with inuendo from global and USA economics to the to the politics of anger. To WallStreet trying ot figure out what the hell is going on and how they can rationalize it in their favort. At least it quells the Epstein discussion.
One of the saddest things about yesterday is people cheering the murder of Charlie Kirk. Justifying hatred is why hated persists.
I'm thinking there may be typos on my gravestone. My kids have great senses of humor.
The media thinks it is news when celebrities have problems with their marriages.
The Question:
Before the invention of crowbars, crows had to drink at home. There are a lot of unusual reasons behind some important or notable inventions. Why did LeMarcus Thompson invent the Roller Coaster?

So, you think living in America can be problematic... Escapees from the North Korea regime say the government is regularly executing regular ordinary for watching foreign films and TV dramas.
I asked my friend how it was in North Korea. He said, “I can't complain”.
Over here, some of the US films and TV shows are persecutions enough.
In case you are interested, the rest of the answer to yesterday’s “Q”, here it is. Martin-Only Murder in the Building, Costner – Yellowstone, Lowe – West Wing, Wright – House of Cards, Lange – American Horror Story, O’Donnell - NCIS LA, Baldwin – 30 Rock, The great Claire Danes – The great "Homeland” and Slater in Mr. Robot.
I would love to see another Homeland style series. If Mirren can do it in Thursday Murder Club than Claire can do it international intrigue.
The best College game tomorrow is probably Georgia-Tennessee. Notre Dame versus Texas A&M will draw interest and perhaps Bama against Big Ten member Wisconsin. But, unfortunately once again there are several Behemoths versus small colleges. Call the ambulance.
Kash Patel has seemed to me as one of those reactionary types who leaps out front for headlines. He got caught on the Kirk case when pronounced a killer caught. I had watched the cautious delivery of the Utah gov and so did the national media who were also befuddled at the Patel moment. I'd much rather a have a thoughtful FBI chief who nobody hears,
By the way, the more controlled Governor Spencer Cox of Utah did it right at human and authority levels. In fact, he is now on my list for Prez in 2028
If you've been reading here regularly you will have noticed the Tids economist frequently pointing out the astonishing increase in coffee costs. After Yesterday’s CPI inflation number, it was mentioned thta Coffee and Meat were especially contributory to the inflation increase.
Pure and simple: These tariffs are a global mess.
How many North Koreans does it take to screw in a light bulb. None, the supreme leader says it’s ok to be in the dark.
The Answer:
Thompson was disturbed by the unwholesome entertainment of the late 19th Century mainly in Theaters and brothels. So, for a wholesome entertainment alternative he invented the first ever roller coaster at Coney Island NY.
I felt like escaping to the weekend with a classic rock song. Hope you have a great one, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
