Tap Dancing:
I’m having trouble finding interesting topics to opine upon. Oh yeah, there's a war but it was better when Rummy was narrating the bullseyes. Now that’s an odd thing to say – one war was better because of video narration. Is this because wars look more like video games in this new era of long distance bombing. Btit is still war and things and buildings are destroyed and billions are spent, and innocents die. Yeah, sometimes tis one looks like a big game with too much talk, but innocents are losing.
Pop food manufacturers are leaning towards fruits new to Americans like Yazu which is basically like a more bitter grapefruit/ tart lemon combo. But, nowadays you can sell anybody more if it sounds exotic and ahead of the crowd.
There's a melody called Pinehurst by Joannie Madeon which just makes me relax and smile inside.
The Question:
Thomas Jeffersson wrote the first draft of the Declaration of Independence, Then he turned it over to others on the appointed DoI Development committee to critique and build upon his message. Who were the others on that committee that gave us the DoI?
The Headlines:

I know what Trump was thinking when he said he loved the high inflation numbers. He was thinking they should bc coming down just around election time and the higher now the better he looks when they are lower. He has been great at manipulating statistics, nd the stock market.
I worry too much about what other people think,
The San Antonio Spurs showed their youth last night when they let a 29 point lead slip away. While the Spurs are talented with a superstar to be, a lot of observers were worried about their youth and experience when it came to the big championship.
Here's a number to roll around in your brain today. The Mag 7 has lost $2 Trillion in value this past month. This represents 2/3’s of the Nasdaq index. Microsoft and Amazon are down $350B, Alphabet and Apple $300B, NVidia $260, Tesla $200B and Meta $160B.. I th9ght Meta would be the biggest loser. The big point is that we are measuring the the success of our economy based on 7 stocks.
I know Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb and Big Train Walter Johnson. They’re part of my growing up lore. But surprisingly I also know the greatest World Cup star of all time – Pele. Right behind him are Lionel Messi (Arg), Diego Maradonna (Arg), The rest of top ten list are Franz Beckerbauer (Ger), Ronaldo (Bra), |Zinedine Zidane (Fr), Garrincha (Bra), Kylian Mbappe (Fr), Gerd Muller (Ger) and Number Ten Miroslav Klose. So, if you are at a World Cup party you can say things like, these guys are good, but Mirsalv KLose was soemthing special
I had a great Guiness Zero the other day. Had a lot of body and tasted great. It seemed nutritional.
There is nothing better than Swordfish on a grill. I prep woth a little lemon, salt and pepper, and olive oil. And try to take it off at just the right time. Oh yeah, maybe I’ll top it with a little butter when done. Fich should be tasted, not disguised.
My legs looklike crap. I must ne getting old.
If I was in the Senate, I would not approve Pulte or Todd Blanche. I hope Todd doesn't have his staff reading the Tids. I'm not paranoid, but lately you never know..
In case you are interested, The Teapot Dome scandal was about the secret leasing of Federal Oil reserves at Teapot Dome Wy and Elk Hills Cal. It was the work of Interior Secretary Albert Fall who accepted bribes aplenty from oilmen Harry Sinclair and Edward Doheney. Fall was the first ever Cabinet member convicted of a crime. Was he Harding's Fall guy? The Senate discovered the plot. Remember the Senate.
Ts 250th Celebration should be a one of national Pride and unity. But politics has become the jaundice that is dividing America. I think I’ll start the unification party. But to accomplish my goals I’d have reject the policies of the left and the right which would probably deepen the divide. So, we will always be back to the ole – Yeah, let’s unify as long as we do it my way.
“Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.”—Oscar Wilde
I’ve got to start working on my crunches to fix my abs, or something like that. Or is that the flabs.
The Answer:
The rest of the DoI committee were Ben Fraklyn, John Adams, Robert Livingston (NY), Roger Sherman (Ct). So thank them one and all.
Wouldn't it be great if we could get George M. to perform his medley of America on White House lawn. (Sorry, I could only get Joel Grey. You know, budget problems)
