As one guy said, I’m responsible for what I say, not what you understand. That will always be the view of the Supreme Court, and it offered many opinions today. The Word “Interpretation” is the essence of the great Court. And of course their reliance on Constitution. Some courts we have had base their decisions on rewriting the Constitution. Others base theirs on what the constitution meant as the founding document of one great damned, free society – “The” Constituiton versus the evolving constitution. But that is why we have amendments.  

 

 

Today ends the first half of the ballad of 2026. The tech stocks ahve been roaring. And that is exactly why some people are worried about half number two,

The directive today at the golf course about the coming heat wave says stay hydrated anf]d watch out for old people. They drop fast. I may just play golf cart polo. 

 

The biggest wedding ever is just a big Ho-Hum in this corner of the world.

The big “W’s” seem to have taken pver eth world – Weather and World Cup. Most other news, including War, seems on the back burner.

Humans get tied up in the events of the day but looking back in history tells the real stories.  

 

I really have to be extra careful about which items I pick up to write about. I research them all. Most of the juiciest are just plain fake, or altered to fit an agenda. 

 

The other night watching my regular Red Sox channel I sweat through the nineth inning to see my Sox beat that Bronx team. Then I realized it was national TV game and I had been watching a rerun of a previous game. So I had to sit through another gut winching nineth. We won both times. 

 

The Answer: 

Swims spells the same upside down. Bonus: Luke Donald, the current Captain of the Europe Ryder Cuo team, won both the PGA and and European tours in 2011. Englishman Luke, a genuine good guy was a grad of Northwestern U. I have a lot of little items like that stuck in my head. Maybe it’s because I remember and root for what good people do. 

 

One quote I have always hated since I was 10 yo. was from Leo Derocher: “Good guys finish last”.
