The big forgery.

Today's Tids Issue 6,091

Summer memories:

Art can only come from the heart and unique talent of a human. Anything else is just a copy taken from human passion and creativity. Pure and simple.

Oh Hum – Nasdaq techs soar again early after a couple of muddy days. This time there was enthusiasm over Micron seriously beating all top and bottom line estimates and then commenting that a tight s chip supply continues which will hold prices in the next few quarters. And the rebound is not surprising as there is so much big money that needs AI to be a winner. And money can move mountains. (Note, Nasdaq was all over the place today)

My boss is going to fire the employee with the worst posture. I have a hunch, it might be me.

BTW, a new research study says Management is really requiring employees to return to the office mainly because the bosses are lonely. I need somebody.

The SC made a lot of calls today. The big one though will be on the birthright issue. They may escape by saying it can't be changed by EO’s.

Have you noticed a little emerging contradiction as streaming apps for  which you pay monthly charges now has teirs with commercials. . So now you are basically paying to watch commercials – which were free with your cable bill. Moving from cable to streaming is not a free lunch.

The Question:

Who was Roselind Walter.

The Headlines:

--Nasdaq off to Roaring Comeback at Opening; Micron Dips after Reigniting Enthusiasm for AI.

--PCE Inflation Hits Highest Level in Three Years; Rate Hike Looms.

--Two Massive Earthquakes Hit Venezuela within a Minute188 Known Dead But E Expectations are for Thousands more; Destruction is widespread.

-- --Supreme Court: Rejects Suit Saying (Roundup) Weedkiller Causes Cancer; Says US Can end Deportation Protection for Haitians and Syrians; Allows Trump to Block Asylum Seekers at Border.

--Euro Heat Wave Shifting East.

--IBM Hails Its Newest Ultra Tiny Chip; Uses less Energy and Provides Increased Computing Power; It is Based on their NanoStack Technology.

The latest list of best curriculum ROIs from college tuition spending is in, and the top curriculum by far is Engineering/architecture. Business and Economics also does very well. The be Next are Security and Protective Services, Ad gricultufre and Natural Resources, Biology and Health, Physical Sciences and Math and Communications. After 15 Years in the real world first two categories average salaries are  $205K and $183, 261 K. At teh bottom is Liberal Arts at $35,410 after 15 years. Interesting how Security has moved up so hogh,

This is the season for Stella Doros the ubiquitous flower that seems to bloom everywhere, brightening city and townscapes; along roadsides, in traffic circles. It is also the time for comfortable summer Day lillies which sprout happily against country grey walls, awaiting the appearance of lilacs.

McKensie Scott dominated the Philanthropy Mega Gifts list this year, Behind her was Michael Bloomberg, Bill Gates, Warren Bufffet, and Susan and Michael Dell. In case you forgot, Scott is the Ex-Wife of Jeff Bezos. She does it very quietly. But she does it well and oftern.

A man was found guilty of overusing commas. The judge warned him to expect a really long sentence.

Remember when IBM was King. Well, they are still there and doing amazing things and could be on top of the AI heap if their new Ultra Tiny chip works as they say. IBM met many challenges as they transitioned and they seemed ot have done it well.

The Answer:

Roselind was a 19-year-old woman who went to work for Vought Aircraft Company so she could helo keep the factories going during WWII. She is The Rosie the Riveter the symbol for all the women who rolled up their sleeves to keep the machines behind the war effort humming. The Ms, Walter is celebrated as the Rosie”. Others have been considered – Rosie OMalley Boeing Wichita, Rosina Bonavita Conair San Diego ad Rose Hill Monrow ariveer at the Willow Run Aircraft Factory in Michigan.

I hope Today’s Tids was riveting! And your days ahead are Rosey.
