Today's Tids Issue 3,299
Opening Stuff:
One of the more annoying USA
expressions is, “You don’t know what you are missing.”
The new definition of insanity is looking for
emails on your smartphone after not finding any on your Ipad or laptop.
Regardless of the outcome regarding the legalities of
Hillary’s email, the new mess is just one more example of her exercising bad judgment.
Is that the finger you want in the ABomb switch?
I think that the Congress is reminding the rest of
the world that the reason the USA is so different from so many, that it has
been the paragon for so long from its unique inception, is that Congress is
exactly equal to the President and is solely responsible for much of what governs
the country internally and externally. That the President s the executer of
Congressional laws.
The Question:
Which
5 states have the highest paid lawyers (Average salary) and which 5 states have
lowest paid lawyers?

The Voice began the “Knockout Rounds”
last night with some terrific duets with very talented people. Fortunately there
were two “Steals” keeping Ashley and one of my early on favorites, Joshua Davis
in the mix. There are about 48 singers left, so it’s too early for this Tidster
to start sorting things out. But, the Voice columns will be getting more
concise especially with the Kockout rounds. Stay tuned. Good music acomin’.
Because I’m not home for a
while I’m missing
the opening weeks of House of Cards. However, I had been looking forward to
bingeing (With multiple snacks) upon returning. Now I’m reading that the
writers have turned Frank the ferocious into a liberal wimp, a do-gooder who
would give jobs to ISIS to stop the fighting. Is this wiping out the sins of
this pure evil person’s past concept just one more attempt by Hollywood moguls
to reclaim a soiled Hillary.
By the way, in case you missed it, a
Seal has volunteered to go in and get those Hillary emails for the good of the
USA.
If I always wrote what I thought I’d probably
make a lot of people mad. Responsible Tidsing requires remarkable restraint. Of
course now you’re thinking, “What isn’t he saying and is it about me?”
New official data has confirmed what the Tids
has been saying for years: RI Is a communist state. All of the dominant
industries are financed by giant pots of centralized money with the three
driving industries being Health Care, Education and Social Services! None of
these industries are exportable, unless you call sending invoices to Washington
DC an export.
I don’t think I’ll ever get an Apple
Watch. If you are watching a TV program, it will interrupt saying “You’ve been
sitting too long”. (Hopefully not with a Michelle Obama voice!) Just what I
need, more unsolicited advice, especially during comfortable mindless downtime.
I wonder if it comes with free Cataract Surgery so you can actually see the
data or read an email.
America Loves Chocolate. Swiss candy giant Lindt is
recording outstanding sales and profit as Americans dive into chocolate
delicacies. Now I would call a plate of chocolate creations a perfect
vegetarian dish.
BTW, the Tids has a direct link
to the Easter Gift of the year – a 3 foot tall, 30 pound chocolate bunny. Only
$300! Yikes, how great is that! Amaze your children and grandchildren.
The Answer:
It’s
not hard o imagine that Cal at $155,750 and NY at $153, 490 are #1 and 2. A thou
behind NY is Delaware which is followed by Conn ($139K) and Georgia ($137K).
The Lowest average salary is in Montana ($75,460) followed by Wyoming ($89K). 3rd
lowest is Kentucky ($90), a smidge lower than West Virginia and North Dakota. But,
the Pin Striped suits are cheaper in West Virginia and North Dak. And the
people are nicer.
Actually, I’m not missing anything
and am pretty damn happy with what I got. So, “you don’t know what you’re
missing” just rolls off my back like hot fudge running down ice cream.
