Today'sTids Issue 3,295
Opening Stuff:
Massing of information has
changed societies, and nothing masses it more today than Twitter. Marketers use
twitter to build mass hysteria. ISIS uses it to recruit participants in mass
murder. Faceless irritants send crude and uncivilized messages from the depth
of hell. Celebrities extol their virtues as if given from heaven. The untruths
from twitter can crumble the reputation of a person. Twitter finds guilt
without a presumption of innocence. Twitter is a scourge that can rape and
maim. Why would I ever want to Tweet to an unknowing world that I put my
chewing gum on te bedpost overnight.
Simple Fact, Department:
If everybody
oi the world stood up, there would be no more laps.
Eyes should be firmly affixed upon the world’s
interest rates as more and more large countries are lowering theirs (India just
hopped aboard hat locomotive) as The Fed is mulling the long expected increase
here. All this does is strengthen the dollar which some are saying could be a
big negative for the USofA. A stronger dollar could ignite the economy forcing
Yellen to raise interest rates faster, and possibly higher, given impetuous to
an inevitable market crash. Of course the stronger dollars makes imports
cheaper, which could hurt domestic producers and jobs.. In other words, while
we dance in fields of daisies in anticipation of spring, the silent mechanics
of economics could be eroding our financial comfort. It’s a little like high
blood pressure you can’t see or feel. There’ always something.

Comes Out With Report Citing Routine Civil Rights Violations By Ferguson Police
Department.
Let’s see if I have this
straight:
Confession of Massachusetts teen (Who slashed teacher to death with box cutter
and raped her) was thrown out because after freely admitting all when alone he seemed to be more hesitant about
admitting guilt to that vicious crime when his mother came into the room. To
this pragmatist, legal wrangling just seems to make trials longer.
Humming birds are intriguing little
creatures, if you can see them
You have to wonder if the Ferguson police were
committing “routine” civil rights violations because crime was routine in their
city.
When you move into one of
those Florida condominiums for a few weeks of warm sun in the winter, the rental agent
will invariably mention, “We have our alligator in then pond”. I guess it’s an
attempt to make you feel like you are living dangerously.
Wall Street gets excited about adding
private sector jobs which nowadays pay less than government jobs probably because
the government is sucking up so much of the available cash t o pay for the
higher priced jobs that are multiplying rapidly. So, why again is Wall Street
excited?
Now The Lala-Pelosi knows what we feel like
when she speaks – yesterday she said she was near tears listening to Bibi.
Demographics work because people are more
similar than they are different…and that includes contrarians like me…avant-garde
artists, disestablishment communities, intellectual elites and Joe six packs.
The term “Highway Robbery” definitely applies to
Interstate state run convenience stores. Maybe it’s because the state
authorities think everybody makes as much money as their brethren. Maybe it’s
because they are unethical.
