Not much of anything, but something.

Today's Tids Issue 3,944
Opening Stuff:

Have you received your notification from Equifax telling you that every criminal in the world knows everything about you? A nuke attack may be more comforting.

A person knew he was getting old when he confided to a friend that he was having an affair, and she replied, “Is it going to be catered?”

One question I have always had is why Catholic churches are so protective of illegal immigrants whose main accomplishment was breaking laws.

One of the most disheartening results of hurricane disasters are looters.

The Question:
Name Five of the Leeward Islands.

The Headlines:
--Markets Down On Irma Fears.
--Worst case Scenario Feared As Irma Heads Towards Southern Florida.
--Equifax Event Occurred In may-July; Conducers Finding Out About It 1 ½ to 2 months later; Equifax Execs Questioned About Selling Stock.
--Deadly 8.1 Earthquake Rocks Mexico; Tsunami Is A Possibility.
--Cattle Ranchers Lost Tens Of Millions Of Dollars’ Worth Of Cattle From Harvey; Beef Prices Could be Next To Rise.
--Trump Tweets To Dreamers: “There Is Nothing To Worry About” (With Regard To Changes In DACA)

I haven’t seen any reports on Turks and Caicos yet, but I have to imagine that that territory of 40 small low lying islands, is a total disaster judging by what happened to Barbuda, Antiqua, Tortola, St. Thomas and Sint Maarten.

Get ready for pumpkin flavor in everything season.

If the Pats play the rest of the season the way they did last night, they could go 8 and 8 or worse. Their defense is loaded with holes, and that was before Hightower got hurt last night; loaded with holes and not a lot of depth to fill them. Equally important, it seems that other teams have caught on to the Pats short pass offense.

How to lose credibility in an instance, Department:
Ever cute but increasingly whacky Jennifer Lawrence suggests that Trump Presidency is responsible for Irma and Harvey. We are doomed.

Where do the people of Barbuda and Antigua go to hide from Jose? It’s so sad.

The USA needs voter Id’s more than ever.

I have never understood the appeal of moonroofs in cars. All they do is make the ride noisier.

I dumped my super market purchases on the checkout counter—chips and several varieties of Orange colored snacks. I put the separation bar behind my goods and the first package that appeared from the man behind me was a bag of apples. I peered back. He had that look. The I eat apples and you eat junk look. Then he reached into his little shopping satchel and took out three bottles of very creamy salad dressings. I peered back and gave him that you eat gut wrenching creamy salad dressings look.

A mosquito is an insect that makes you like flies better.

Much of today’s inter populous irritation is abased one nasty combination – Cayotes and Dreamers.

Twitter is easily the most effective and unrelenting character assassination tool in history.

One of the best joke books is in the pages of The National Science Foundation grant logs: $138K is being spent on a study that asks four-year-old’s about their “Internal Sense of Gender Identity.”

Reading Between the Lines Movie Reviews:
--he most awaited film is Stphen King’s “It”, a horror thriller with a heart. It meaets expectetaions and the some. Kids disappear n derry Maine, and  a group of kids face their fears as they stand up to evil clown Pennywise. Critics and audiences love it.
--Home Again is a big cast laboring though a small plot. Disappointing’s the word that best describes this romantic comedy about a separated wife (Witherspoon) who goes home again and starts house with a few new friends, including a man who might just light up her new life. All’s well until Hubby returns, suitcase in hand.

The new movie Home Again conjures up a picture of a person returning to a quaint small town, not slick LA.

A secret is a story you tell to one person at a time.

The Answer:
The Leewards include St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix, Water Island, Jost Van Dyke, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anguilla, Sint Maarten/Saint Martin, St. Barts, Saba, Sint Eustatious, Saint Kitts, Nevis, Barbuda, Antigua, Redonda, Monserrat, Gudeloupe, La Disirade, Dominica and Marie-Galante.

I’ll be saying a little prayer for all of you who may have to face the wrath of Irma.

Have a great…or safe weekend, depending on where you live.
