It appears that a good Q2 earnings report will be one that beats really, really ugly predictions. In other words, beating Bad will be the measure upon which whether stocks go up or down.
Did I tell you about my friend who went to the Drive-in Theater to see “Closed for the Winter”? He said he got a front row parking spot.
It is pretty obvious we are succumbing to mob rule. and until the election is over, cowardly politicos will knuckle under to the loudest voices.

Financial forecasters like the idea of new Covid Cases. They say it tends to lessen the chance of knockout blow from a second wave. They also like the idea that most forecasts are highly conservative, making it easier for the economy to beat them.
Here’s where conservatives lose their credibility. A pretty good NYC talk show guy, Mac Simone, yesterday poo-pooed the book by Mary Trump as the work of some “Distant relative”. Mary is Trumps naive, his brother’s daughter. If opinions are to be accepted, they have to resemble actuality. As I have often said, it is easy to get people who agree with you to nod yes. But, where does that get you if your ae trying to change the world?
Trump has to learn the same thing, that throwing his ardent supporters’ raw meat will not help him get those crossover voters which he desperately needs to stay in office. And regardless of any flubs Biden may make, the press will always report more negatives about Trump. that’s just the reality of this campaign.

Remember the old Reagan axiom – “Never pay ransom to a terrorist.” We are essentially paying a ransom very time a Mayor orders the removal of a statue. Just remember that vocal groups are not the masses. Petitions aren’t votes.

A Great Volcanic eruption that will kill 6,000 (Vesuvius). 2. Worst Earthquake in history (People Today are thinking San Francisco). 3. “A Climate catastrophe that will burn the earth for years”.(Guess). 4. “A war between two great powers will start and last for 27 years” ( US, Russia China WWIII). 5. Catastrophes will produce economic collapse (Covid).
Any predictions of the past will eventually come true if we wait long enough.
