Do you all have any regrets in life? I do. It’s giving up piano lessons.

 

One often repeated term that really bothers me is “Child Poverty”. It is the parents who are poor. The use of the world Child is to play on the heartstrings of taxpayers, and that game essentially hides the root causes that should be treated.  

 

It wouldn’t be the Tids without a good catchable mistake. Yesterday’s big error was that It wasn’t Alan Shepherd and Buzz Aldrin who first walked on the moon, but Buzz and Neil Armstrong. Sorry, Neil. Neil as everybody but me obviously knows was the very first, and the guy who famously said, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Alan Shepherd was the one who hit two golf balls on the moon. Maybe I thought that was more important!

Once I admitted myself to a hospital in Chicago because of an intense serious pain. I thought at least they would give me something soften it, But, they told me that if they mask the symptoms it would be harder to determine and treat the cause. That’s a little like a government throwing money at poverty.

There was a lot of news about China Today. I guess that should not be a surprise from a country so heavily populated, so aggressive and so foreign to western governmental systems.

 

I remember the first time I got into my old grey dory. My father rowed out to where the bottom disappears. I just looked down and saw blackness and the mystery in my mind deepened. It was stunning.

Or are people doing more weird stuff to gain the attention of an overwhelming media hungry for content. Conundrums upon enigmas is the new game. A couple who used a smoke bomb as part of a Gender reveal party celebration are facing 4 felony charges of involuntary manslaughter and more that could lead to over ten years in prison for the happy mother and father to be., The smoke bomb started a fire that exploded around LA and eventually killed a brave young fireman. Lots of sympathies in that one. How do you sort that stuff out?

Scopes s accused of violating the Tennessee Butler Law against teaching evolution. He was convicted at trial but later it was dismissed on a technicality.
