Not only did 12-year-old Margaet capture the heart of this 12-year-old lad, but her character was just so kind and understanding. The movie was “Secret Garden”. A few movies over time have had an impact on me and I’m sur all of you. That was one of them for me. Her best movies were Jae Eyre, (Juvenile Academy Award Oscar 1944), Meet Me In Saint Louis, The Canterville Ghost, As Thousands Cheer, Our Vines Have Tender Grapes, Tenth Avenue Angel, The Unfinished Dance. There was a popular Margaret O’Brien Doll just as tr was for Shirley Temple. She never made it in adult roles.
