They are already dominating Europe and have just taken aim at the UK with a big new push there. We live in a global economic society. How are we doing there?

The Answer:
I asked this question just so I could catch up with the modern culture world. I think people, especially critics, get too caught up in the reputation of directors, often being sucked into difficult to watch films, It's the same with authors when their names are bigger than the title on book covers. But, anyhow, here they are: Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Ethan Coen, Paul Thomas Anderson, Peter Jackson, Ridley Scott, James Cameron, Quenton Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppolla, Steven Spielberg. Clint Eastwood still gets a nod. You probably will hear names of directors like Villeneuve, Lynch, del Toro, Bong Jon Ho, Derabout and Greta Gerwig.
Music can make many a director look great. Tetop music composers are John Williams (Not my favorite), Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Ennio Morricone, Alan Silvestry and James Horner. But years ago, one of the most reliable was guy named Harry Mancini. Here is one of his all-time best.
