Today's Tids Issue 6,064
The quiet towns:
One of my favorite things in the morning is being out there watering plants and flowers. Hearing a bird or two. Maybe catching a glimpse of a deer running tough the woods.
Then I look at the news and the stock market – Yup, another day in the world.
I was thinking as I read about Ebola that the World Cup matches could be the devices that spread the apparently unstoppable disease to the US. There are Ten African Nations in the cup series. And yes, one of them is DR Congo. Ghana will be HQ’d in RI at Bryant U. The other countries are Algeria, Cabo Verde, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Morrocco, Senegal, South Africa and Tunisia. Just a thought.
Why did the chicken go to the seance? To get to the other side.
The Question:
Actually, this question is for myself so I won't be entirely out of the loop. Who are now considered the brightest young movie stars?
The Headlines:
--US Stocke Markets are Staggering at Noon, Pick up a Little in Mid PM; Soaring Treasury Yields Concerning.
--Putin Meeting with Xi Today.
--Teens 17 and 18 Were Shooters at Largest Mosque in San Diego where Theree were killed; Teen Writings indicate Hatred Against Islamist.
--WHO Doc Says Ebola may be Spreading Faster than Originally Thought

Featherbedding lives as union officials and their henchemen/women in legislatures haven't figured out how irrationality destroys businesses. In the latest piece of insanity, a RI rep offered a bill that penalized the operations of the razor thin margin supermarket industry. She proposed that for each two self checkout machines there needs to be one live human being, Gaaaaa! It didn't pass. But the alternative is the same calling for 1 employee for every three checkout machines. Insane. Totally insane. By the way there are other measures being discussed that would inhibit a supermarket manager from using his staff efficiently as workloads change.
$1,776 Billion. How tedious is that trying to tie the taxpayer funded give away program for Trump friends to the most Patriotic year of our country’s evolution. Where's the fund for the guys who stormed Bunker Hill, Iwo Jima, Normandy, Hamburger Hill.
Wrapping criminal activity in the America flag doesn’t create patriots, just as going to church Doesn’t make you a Christian. Or, to complete the story, “any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
“I was wondering if when George Washington was kid he used a quarter for identification.” -Steven Wright.
Lots of investors will gravitate to the SpaceX IPO. First because Musk is involved. Second because it feels like the future. Is that good for Tesla? People feel confident following Elon Musk. Will they shift their devotion and investment resources over to the space exploration company at the expense of funding the car company.
The Indy 500 is this Sunday. On eof my great memories of it is listening to the race on the radio while trying to trim back a plant-strangling overgrown forsythia bush. It's weird huh, some of the memories we have,
The five Indy favorites are Alex Palou, Pato O’Ward, Coner Daly, Scott McLaughlin and Santino Ferrucci. Of course, a lot of people will be rooting for Helio Castroneves to win his fifth. I know I will. He makes winning so exciting. And then there is last Years's winner Jasel Newgarden trying to make it three in a row. The Indy is always special to this guy. I really don't know why.
So, do you think that Putin and Xi will be gossiping about Trump as the meet now? “Did you hear this one....” Talk about wanting to be the fly on the wall.
This current government is just much too active for me< I prefer an inert Government.
Average things are manufactured in a satisfactory.
Just when you think there is a sense of maturity rising up in teens we begin seeing the increasing siege US public and retail spaces in what is called “Teen takeovers”. It is scary ot a loyof people, and internet activity allows these takeovers to occur almost instantly.
Which reminds me that it is beginning to become harder and harde to find a hidden get-away.
The Answer:
Number one is Timothee Chalamet followed by Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Tom Holland, Austin Butler, Jenna Ortega, Jacob Elordi and Paul Mescal. I need to build up my pop culture repertoire in case I ever get on Jeopardy. Of course, you know contestants have to pay their own airfare to LA. The least I could win would be $2K. So, I could make a little profit,
If this Tids feels like it sucks, it’s because of the heat. Excuses, excuses. See, human nature.
I’ve met a while bunch of really nice people from Indiana. Though, I never thought much about Colts Prez Bill Poulian. But, he is from the Bronx. That makes sense.
