For Silence As the Best Policy:
I’m
concerned about reports giving me this sense of blundering, unthoughtful,
unkind execution of government duties like with ICE or the Airport security purveyors.
Now what I really don’t know is how accurate the stories are from media sources
that basically seem willing to do anything to make the new Admin look
blundering, dishonest and inhuman.
The
Tids may look a little thin at times because the crunch from a
potato chip tends to block out TV sound and whole segments of the news.
Last
night, Chris Matthews compared Ivanka and Jerrod Kushner to
Sadaam Hussein’s sons. Doctors are saying that the tingle up his leg has traveled
further up and finally frozen his brain.
Anti
Nathan’s Hot Dogs letters are arriving at Tids headquarters,
just I case you are interested. I’d write one myself, but try to be impartial.
Congress
passed and Trump will sign a law revision that wipes out FCC’s
privacy protections allowing Internet companies to sell personal information
and internet history to marketers. I think it is a criminal act.

Trump Repubs and conservative leaning indies should remember
that the one of the main reasons he was voted in by relatively intelligent
Repubs was to keep Hillary from appointing Supreme Court Justices. The big
antis (media and Dems) can play the impeachment game (Which I believe makes look
like an irrational third world country) but with four years remaining, a Repub
Prez would still be in charge for nominating Justices regardless of opposition
antics. Remember an Impeachment does not call for a new election but installs
VP Mike Pence in the Oval office. If the Dems persist in their current insanity
and successfully impeach Pence, they are looking at a secession in order of Paul
Ryan, Orrin Hatch, Rex Tillerson, Steven Munchen, James Mattis, Jeff Sessions.
I think that the supreme Court Future is in good hands.
Why
is there a “D” in Fridge but not in refrigerator?
The
good news is that the funding for the wall is moving
towards the back burner.
One
of the problems eternal in politics is that the leadership
doesn’t consider evolutionary adjustments. With 0-Man it was alternative energy
all the way whether or not it was proven as sensible. With Trumps throwback to
coal your heart feels good for West Virginians, but it is a program lacking in
an understanding for the future.
Either
Bugles snacks are getting smaller, or my fingers are
getting fatter. “I’ll get you my pretty, and your little dog too…eee eee eee eee
eee…”
In
signing the Keystone Pipeline authorization, the Prez put
in a clause requiring American made steel pipe. I’m not sure the USA is as powerful
in the pipe business as it was. Do you get the best product at the lowest cost
if you close down possible bidding opportunities? It’s a little like MLB eliminating
choice by authorizing Nathan’s hot dogs for all baseball fans. Or the concept
for the new Health care being based on opening competing among more companies across
state lines. Aren’t they talking to each other. Or, is Trump just talking to
himself.
The
mega investment firm BlackRock has $5.1 Trillion
in assets. Yikes, how can they go wrong? But, they say they are losing customers
because their human stock pickers can’t beat the market with traditional bets
on large US stocks. The company is cutting humans and offering customers
services (formerly only available to large institutional investors) lower cost stock
management which relies solely on data and computer systems to make predictions.
Signs of the times?
Don’t
you think that the introduction of legal pot coinciding with
the replacement of humans with computers and robots portends a new future for the
American worker? Humans will basically be paid an override from robotic production,
and sent home to smoke pot and hallucinate on what a great job they are doing.
Actually,
robots could save a lot of jobs for skilled workers
who will be needed to repair robots. Will Dems put robots into a new national
health program?
Speaking
of hallucinating – there is no way that the US Coal and
steel industries will ever approach their former heydays.
The
Answer:
