Digging for clams is fun:
I like Earth. Oceans
deep and mountains that reach up to the stars. Humid jungles and frozen polar
caps. Rich black soils and others orange-red. Sand and pebbles, granite and
shale. I have been associated with earth since the first day I ate my sister’s
mud pie. While building roads and tunnels through it for my toy trucks and cars;
digging out back for fishing worms. Covered in grime after sliding into second
base; ingrained into my forehead after a diving football catch. Planting and
caring and nurturing flowers and vegetables, uncovering wild plants neath
overgrown brambles. And they say, we’ll all return to it. And I guess that’s
part of it all. We are earth.
I’ve been studying various
opinions of many doctors and scientists and the consensus I’m hearing is that economy
could return and the world could progress pretty nicely if everybody over 70 or
those with a known health risk were locked up for about year.
The financial backers
of the underseas explorer submarine had to have deep pockets.
This virus mess
is an experience that is telling us that doctor’s visits aren’t as important as
blood tests and a phone call from a doctor. This is another possible element of
societal shift.
The Question:
Time sitting alone is always feeling a little better
when you have something to look forward to. What are the ten most anticipated movies
for summer openings?

A New York Times writer
wonders if the National media all centered in NY would be as anxious and concerned
about the pandemic, and reopening the economy, if the all the cases were in an
area as large as the New York City Metro ( NJ and Connecticut and nearby NY
suburb counties) – like North and South Carolina. He argues, wouldn’t the media and NY denizens be
less vocal about states opening up if it were that Metro area they only had 858
(Instead of 18,960) deaths like Ga/SC. Yet NY insular media is aghast that somebody
in small areas and large areas outside of their city would dare to put America
in jeopardy tough rash actions. Undeniably, the writer says, Big media creates
viewpoints.
In case you are interested,
Michelle Obama is now being mentioned most often as Joe’s VP running mate. It
won’t mean anything to me.
This is all a possible
wake-up call for younger generations who has never experienced anything but
abundancy and coddling
Mnuchin
is a pretty darn good spokesman for the Admin.
We get a lot of inuendo stories
like “Blacks are 3.3 times more likely to be arrested for marijuana use.” But these
stories rarely offer any supportive evidence to establish whether it is because
blacks use more MJ, or if they are only being picked on by police. The
suggestion is there, and readers take sides. And, the division in America continues.
Which was probably the purpose of the story in the first place.
Old people may be the most
susceptible to being severely sick or dying from the virus. But younger family adults
are most susceptible to going absolutely mad with kids and husbands and wives
all trying to communicate at once on computers.
The tulips are starting to look
delightfully beautifully, speaking of the bounty of Earth!
I’m getting worried
about the production of meat.
We are still in the midst
of the wondering about the current mysterious pandemic, and the media is
already started to create a scary scenario for the fall.
Unemployment
is great for lowering carbon footprints. Happy earth day
It’s not the government,
big business or religions that controls humans, it is the media, pure and simple.
From tidal waves of simplistic twittering to the output of so-called professional
journalists, news strongholds, that’s what sends humans into apoplexy or
euphoria.
The Answer:
Ok, Number1 is Bill & Ted face the Music. Next
is 1wonderwoman 1984 followed by Black Widow, No Time to Die, Dune, Tenet,
Mulan, A Quiet Place: Part II, Godzilla Versus Kong and #10 the horror film
Candyman. You can look forward to them, if the theaters are open.
I was trying to find a
nice funny earth day puns or one liners. But most what I found were angry missiles
aimed at Repubs. So, I edited them out. I don’t think the left has a sense of humor.
They just think they do because people who think like them, laugh.
Regardless,
Happy Earth day, everybody.
