No Opinions Please:
Somehow, Brahms always seems to elevate the love that I have for the beauty of life. And the people in it.
If journalists didn’t always edge towards their ideological side, I think that Americans would be getting what the founders intended. A fourth branch, an independent watch dog of government thought so important to a people’s self-governing that it is protected under the first amendment. There is a great opportunity to return journalism back to the way it was originally intended, which would be the best first step back towards unity.
There is nothing quite as peaceful nor more tension draining than standing in a woods listening to a babbling brook. Better and less dangerous than any narcotic. Excuse the “Babbling Brook” cliché. But that’s what brooks do – babble. And it is peaceful.
The Question:
What happened 246 years ago today, and where did it happen?

How cool was it yesterday when NASA flew a drone helicopter around Mars? Can you imagine millions of mini Martians in their underground society peeking out thinking, what the hell are they going to do to us next?
Americans need o show an ID for at least 67 very common necessities like driving and getting on a plane. For life critical events like entering a hospital, a doctor’s office or getting a prescription. To get a credit card or apply for unemployment, show an ID. And also pretty basic, should be the requirement for an ID to vote; a simplest of ways to assure honesty in the political arena where such a critical aspect of trust is more often suspect than not.
Most Americans now judge good journalism by whether or not it supports their own individual ideas.
Peloton makes very good exercise systems and builds with the finest of materials to make it as safe as possible. The problem with building super safe products today is that there are people involved in the formula who can instantly create national emergency on social media.
Ted Cruz suggests that now retired Raúl Castro could easily find a nice gig at CNN. Perhaps, replacing Chris Cuomo?
There are Bach People, Brahms People, Brubeck People, Grateful Dead People, Guns and Roses people and for some strange reason, current popular music people. But that’s the way civilization works. We are individuals, and no matter how a hard we try to be who we are, somebody out there wants to lump us into categories.
A termite walks to a tavern. and asks, “Is the bar tender here.”
A lot of Democrats criticize Repubs for being “Originalists” with regards to minor matters like the Constitution and the Supreme Court. But I can’t believe anybody would think it a bad idea to get back to originalist concept of fair and honest journalism to temper bad government. How unique
Two things of which it would be next to impossible for the left to convince me: That people who unlawfully sneak to America are legal immigrants. ID’s to vote are an assault on people’s rights.
One way to prevent old ages to take naps while driving.
Why are vegetarians buying so much plant based fake meat? Is it perhaps because meat tastes better than vegetables? I think I’m on to something.
God bless a lot of the grocers who put all of their cooling and freezer apparatus behind closed doors. Although, now don’t have to go to the rotisserie chicken kiosk to get warm! They may be losing out on an impulse purchase.
I think a lot of people are watching the big court decision on Chauvin mainly to determine whether it will result in a mega riot, a small protest or an overthrow of Minnesota. Somebody somewhere is taking odds on this.
The Answer:
The Great American Revolutionary War began with the first two battles in Lexington and Concord Massachusetts. Th Boston Marathon normally run today, Patriots Day, before Covid commemorates the ride of Paul Revere. Remember this, because it will be cancelled shortly by PETA,
Isn’t it great to remember the regular folks a Lexington and Concord and how integral they and those two events were in the development of what has become one the of the truly great societies in world history?
Adam & Eve were the first ones to ignore the Apple terms and conditions.
