Today's Tids Issue 4,892
Drafts, Earnings and Tediousness:
There is always a sense of stillness outside as I sit here creating various forms of typos each morning. My music desensitizes innate fears, and simultaneously promotes my love of life. I would find a secluded road to walk or simply stop along the way to marvel at a seaside dune, the curl of calm wave; emerging out of the sea a lush green field rife with black eyed Susans waving before salty breezes, climbing to the highest hills. What nature has begot eases me into the day. I will always schedule that into my morning regardless of what else is ahead. Easing is good.
If starting now every car purchased going forward was an EV, it would take 10 years to cut the Greenhouse gases by 50%, as promised by you-know-who. That obviously being impossible would mean that the Gov would have to clamp down hard on other segments of American activity to find CO2 relief. Transportation accounts for 29% of greenhouse gases while Energy generation is 25%, factories 23%, consumer 13% and agriculture 10%. So you can bet the focus will be most likely on Generation and we can expect to pay more to light up our homes. I think we have that period of awareness where perceived necessary goals could easily evolve naturally. Gov dictatorial solutions disrupt. See restaurants.
If you read a lot about America history starting with the first settlements, you begin to realize that the year 1800 sounds a lot like modern times minus a few luxuries.
And that our earliest settling ancestors didn’t just crawl out of caves, but came from well-structured societies in Europe.
Beware of stocks that shot to the moon during the Covid days.
Here’s a good example of how unhinged our media has become in their hysterical effort bring race into every possible discussion. All of the Oscar news notifications sent to my phone during the night had this: “Chloe Zhao is second woman, and first ‘woman of color’ to win Best Director award. Chloe is Chinese, pure and simple. Born in Beijing, A Chinese woman through and through. Let’s ton down the racial phrenzy, lest nobody believes anything about racial clams.
The Question:
Name two TV shows each associated with actors Kevin James and Giancarlo Esposito.

So this week I’m looking forward with a lot of energy to Thursday and the NFL draft; the other big event is week, Thee State of the Union, not so much. The SoS will be the typical laundry list of items, this year with a higher price tag, and President pretending he loves everybody in the USA, which he does not. So that is a snoozer. But I will be on the edge of my chair for the Draft. I don’t kwow about your team, but for my Pat, fans are on high alert to all possibilities, especially since our QB situation is one big mystery. And our 16th o pick is beyond prime QB territory. Must watch TV: This year’s FL Draft.
By the way. the 100-day favorability ratings for the 21st century presidents are: GW Bush – 64%, Barack – 63 %, DT – 45% and Joe B 54%. Other than Trump, JB has the lowest marks since Gerald Ford.
George Floyd’s GoFundMe Account Plus Minneapolis Legal suit Payment Comes To Over $40.7 Million. Yikes!
The world at least had at least a fighting chance to be sane before it was overrun with smart phones. O, The phones may be smart, but….
A local, quite successful restaurant Midtown Oyster Bar, turns away up to 100 customers a day because they don’t have enough staff to serve them. That’s what happens when governments play in the free enterprise system. The politicians get votes and the restaurants get foreclosure notices.
If Joe B is this self-proclaimed moderate, I hate thinking of how far off the American stage the extreme left may be now. Yikes! I may be running to join some of my prisoner ancestorial cousins Australia.
Speaking of taxation without representation, the clanging outcries of social media mavens is suffocating the calm hopes of the regular population who always thought their congress people actually represented hem.
As mentioned above, cars are one of the biggest contributors to Greenhouse Gases. It has been announced that Jag will be all EV by 2025, Volvo by 2030, GM by 2035 and Honda by 2045.
Netflix made it really big last year when everybody was forced to find something to do inside. And Hollywood forgot about network programming that was entertaining.
The Answer:
I actually had an Idea for a good inactive relevant Question, but I couldn’t find an answer that seemed accurate. Kevin James is best known for King of Queens and Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Giancarlo Esposito was in Breaking Bad ad Better Call Saul I laughed a lot at Paul Blart and the King but couldn’t get into the works of Espo. Just in case you are wondering how I stack up on the entertainment sophistication meter.
This week could be full of surprises. I don’t know why I said that. Maybe I was just looking for a provocative ending. Did you know that provocativeness is in the eye of the beholder? As is everything else in the era of diminishing rules and history. And common sense.
