How about a little more flag waving:

 

I have been described as a sentimental old coot. I am. And I’m sentimental about America – the founding, the independence, the revolution, the can do so spirit, the melding. I try to live in the hardships of the first settlers, the agonizing striving as the country moved westward. the creativity and fairness of the founding fathers, the bravery of the underdog, common, people soldiers who beat down a global empire. I live it to remember that none of what we have came easy. I live it to remember how all of the people collectively resolved to build a better society, one unique in all the ages of the world. Yet somehow in Wokesville, being sentimental about our proud past, overcoming tyrannical government for the  good of the people is now somehow anti-American.

I heard a guy on the radio today proposing the acronym America probably needs most: “PRIA” -- Personal Responsibility, Individual Accountability.

According to reliable sources, today is the midway point between last year’s and this year’s Thanksgiving Day. Maybe it’s a good idea to stop for a moment and say thanks to somebody.

 

I just have a feeling that a lot of good people have had enough and that cooperative patriotism will rise again.

 

TV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines donated to campaign against critical race theory in schools. Nobody likes one singular idea group to dominate what kids are being taught. Except the singular idea groups that slips i way in beneath the radar. Parents assume that somebody reasonable is managing the store.

 

I hope you didn’t miss it, but nature put on an amazing show yesterday with a fiery blood Moon. Nature does this to you every once in a while, and it is generally worth taking a little extra time to enjoy it.

 

Just another reminder why you should be happy to be an American even though so many wokers are trying to divide it. In just two days we have seen China through Hong Kong ban opposition Political foes, and Iran banning all allies of Rouhani from running for election. We don’t do that hear. Yet. but if the social media combine decides its ok to ban opposition.

 

Most reasonable people have come to the conclusion that Georgia’s voting law deemed racist, is not racist in the least. Blacks and whites alike like the idea of protecting the integrity of our most sacred elections.

I guess being a sentimental old fool could make me become a hoarder. But I don’t believe hoarding memories of our nation’s past makes me entirely crazy. Just a guy with a Red, White and Blue heart.
