Too early to look for shade:
Don’t you think that we have spent way too much time talking about masks? I mean, they’re, masks. I mean I’m not the brightest bulb on the planet, but I just have to believe there is something more important than masks.
“I saw a dwarf climbing down a prison wall. I thought to myself, that’s a little condescending.”
Is there such a thing as too much butter.
I’m thinking that to the Department of Defense, everything else must be small international skirmishes next to the threat of China and Cyber.
Could a librarian be called a bookkeeper, a dairy man a cowboy, a referee a game warden? Is a president a cabinetmaker?
The Question:
We got NYC. We got LA, but what are the five largest cities in China?

This week on local radio sport-talk ahead about an October fourth matchup it was endless TB Bucs versus NE Pats discussion about Brady versus Belichick. That’s 4 and a 1/2 months away. Spare me. BTW, you can buy a premier ticket for $10K and nosebleed seat for about $1.500. I think my couch is looking better and better.
I think Beethoven’s best works are his Piano concertos. For me, Number 4 is tops.
In case you have been under a mask too long a lot has been going on in the big business of streaming, cable and network TV. It could be a case of scramble for survival. Everybody wants to get into the paradigm change, that I believe will change the way we are entertained. Maybe one the most profound organizational shifts in old media took place today when AT&T spun off its gigantic media empire Warner Media to join Discovery. That means that Discovery’s HGTV, Animal Planet, Food Network, OWN, TLC and more will be merged into Warner with its CNN, and HBO. That makes Discovery one of the largest Global streaming operations that is now in direct competition with Amazon. And Netflix is thinking, What the hell just happened to my freeway to paradise. I expect we will see more of these types of amalgamations.
May starts out with raft of big events and then not much of anything happens until Memorial Day. Well. maybe blooming flowers would disagree with that.
There's a guy in town who walks around talking to himself using only figurative language. We call him the Village Idiom
More and more people are wondering if the gargantuan costs of higher education is worth it.
China landed on Mars a coupe of days ago. Do you think they will build a Navel seaport next!
As China cobbles up more of the world, The USA May have to turn back to of all things, good old-fashioned mining to remain a self-sufficient, self-determined player in the world of advanced technology. People forget how important minerals, metals and materials are scientific discovery. Material’s engineering has always been the core of breaking through.
The Answer:
New York City is 8.4 million. Shanghai is number one at 26,917,322. The rest are Beijing – 20,381,745; Chongqing – 15,773,658; Tianjin – 13,552, 359; Guangzhou – 13,238590; Shenzhen – 12,313, 714; Chengdu – 9,104,865; Nanjing – 8,789,855. Wuhan is number 8 and at 8,346,204 is just about the same as NYC. But they don’t have Broadway.
I think the Tids has to get younger to assure its viable future. I’m taking courses in generational idioms, colloquialisms, euphemisms, expressions and vocabulary. I will also examine dance and mixology but I will never be able to relate to current musicology.
Oh yeah, I’ve been inspired to finish that latest of the five Tids serial novels. I know I have promised this before. but now I mean it. t f I could one remember the name so I could find it in the files. Oh yeah, its “The Parking Lot”. Inh guess the name didn’t come to mind because it had little to do with the story which is about early Plymouth settlers and how they grew to be major land owners in Southeast Massachusetts and RI. Its about King Phillips war, the battle between the harbor people and farming community; and modern time’s battle for survival of a bright woman and her ally an old writer. It’s about the information the woman has of her family that several mysterious factions want equally. And are willing do anything to our heroine to get it.
Did you hear that John Kerry just gave away the Hienz Ketchup recipe to the Iranians? What’s the all about?
Two patches of grass trying to endure the lack of rain just made dew.
