Today's Tids Issue 4,905
Soft Music:
I like to explore a rainy, cloudy and cold day to find how many ways I can discover warmth and sunshine. I’m weird that way.
Well, we’ve celebrated Mayday, Mexicans and Moms and now it’s on to Memorial Day, the Em-bodiment of the magnificent military men and women’s mammoth courage in missions that has made Americans free. Let’s hear it for “Ems”!
Taking away guns does not solve the root cause of people wanting to kill people. Period.
Remember when families would go to church Sunday mornings. Now they sit home seething listening to political rhetoric from morning News shows. And people wonder why everybody is so angry these days.
And then there is this new progressive movement to change Mother’s Day to Birthing People day. And we wonder why we are losing our sense of humanity.
The Question:
Name the five top all time family movies.

266K actual versus 978K predicted! I’d say that the jobs report really missed its mark. No wonder hospitality biasness are falling so short of being able to get back to normal times as governments begin to release there stranglehold on the economy. No, the pols have reinfected the economy by giving too much free money away that encourages workers to say home and collect. I’ for safety nets, but not largess replacing economic reality. (And that goes for baling bad business decisions too.)
Anybody who thinks that changing everything form the past is progressive, then they have never lived and loved in the past.
That pipeline Ransomware episode of the past couple of days may be the scariest thing to happen to us during the past couple of years, and that includes the pandemic. How helpless could we become in the future?
I have absolutely no interest in guns per se, but will use my knife to fight to the death against the watering down of the Second Amendment.
It looks like the Iris are ready to pop around here I like Iris much better than Gladiolas.
The Tids actuarial department hasn’t adjusted it’s Obit based average age of death in a while. The department thought that this Sunday with 27 Obits gave us a good sample. The high and the low ages were 102 and 53. The breakdown: 90- 5; 6 80 – 9; 70 – 6; 60 – 3; 50 – 2. Ok, are you ready? The average age was 81.15. So there you have it. beating the odds is fun.
The EU has ok’d as safe eating meal worms for protein. If that’s what it takes to live healthier, longer, then I don’t it ink I’m interested.
What’s with Green Bay Packers and coddled quarterbacks. First Bret Favre and now Aaron rogers in an over reported controversy that really affects nobody and nothing but the agent’s wallets. Is there a 24/7 Rogers Bog out there somewhere?
Critical Race Theory is an insidious little concept that fosters the idea of identity selectivity. In a Texas city schoolboard election, a slate supporting CRT ran as the “Anti Racism” Movement to move away from the negative aspects of CRT, also hopeful of embarrassing anybody who voted against “Anti-Racism”! The anti-CRT board was elected by 70% to 30% margin. Of course now the promoters of CRT are shouting that only bigots would be against “Anti-Racism” And the simplistic media will always support the latter instead of trying to explain the truth. These days, warm and fuzzy, ain’t.
The runaway Chinese rocket splashed down unceremoniously in the Indian Ocean. By the way, on Friday I read about the rocket and it was said to have weighed 18 Tons. On the NBC Nightly news Friday they said it was 20 tons. Saturday Night CBS news said it was 22 Tons. Sunday mornings post splashdown report said, “The 23 Ton runaway rocket has landed. Do newwspcastr play the telephone came?
Anything that divides America is not good for America. And this current fascination with Identity diversification is one of them.
The leftist Dems call the Repubs racist because they only have one black Senator, Tim Scott, and they used their him for the SoU response. The Dems only have two Black Senators. Cory Booker and Raphael Warnock. .
