Little things that make us smile:
Sea otters make me smile.
I like reading newspaper stories about local High school boys and girls sports championships. The Pics of the kids and the words of their heroics and teamwork is refreshing is this world unfortunately painted with divides. You can’t miss he real honest happiness, and the other equally human side, the emotions of almost making it. And maybe most prevalent, and the appreciation of teammates contributing together. To me, that is feel good America at its finest. Yes, the thrill of a championship is a high, but not to the deteriorate of those who fought as hard as the eventual winners to get to that final game. So every time I think that America is divided I see in these games a text generation so bound together by caring for one another.
I have a lot of trouble eating foods that are light green and creamy.
A lot of people who will see all the handouts could over time multiply into a vast majority of who might say “Why Work” It’s a malaise, as serious insidious disease that could over time infect the very soul of a vital country’s energy. A friend form Ireland once told me that the worst thing to happened there was the “Big Dole.” How eventually sent many an able-bodied person to the rocking chair, happy to collect rather than prospect for jobs and self-esteem. She said she was entirely embarrassed for he once vigorous family. (Note: 14% of those on the dole have never worked a single minute) But they’re good golfeeers.
Doesn’t it seem a lot like Bret Favre deja vu all over again?
Remember when catching fireflies was great sport, and oh the laughs we had. I can’t count the number of wholes I punched into metal caps for glass jars. But, they were never so bright in the morning.
I didn’t think SoS Blinken Looked particularly Strong Last Night On 60 Minutes Answering Q’s on The Border Crisis.
The Question:
What are the world’s five largest islands? Bonus: At the time of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, what were the five largest American Colony cities? and Which one had the first Medical school?
The Headlines:
--Stocks Expected to Be strong To pen May Trading; April Went Out On A Down Day After Positing Strongest Overall Month Since November.
--US General Predicts That Afghan Military Forces Could Suffer Bad Possible Outcomes.

I don’t listen to much on my XM/Serius car radio other than Jeff & Larry’s Comedy roundup, which is at least 95% clean jokes. I just drive and laugh till my stomach hurts and my eyes close, which often has a negative effect on driving. A couple of my favorites are Brian Regan and Bill Engvall. Steven Wright is on often and he just keeps on coming at me from weirdsville.
I prefer cheese l slice randomly over packaged pre-sliced or pre-chunked cheeses. It may taste the same, but the total experience just feels better. I’m into total experiences.
And, really, how hard is it to slice a piece of cheese?
How come so many people are worried about executive income, you know for CEO’s who run gigantic companies and economy drivers responsible for the creatin of millions of jobs and the employment millions of Americans, but they are not overly concerned about Basketball, Baseball and Football players who make more than most all CEO’s?
The Jeff & Larry of that Comedy Roundup show are Foxworthy and the Cable Guy. Many an eye closing driving moment comes from Jeff’s “You may be a Redneck” series. Like, “If your Junior/Senior Prom had a Daycare.” or “You stare at a box of orange juice in the morning because it said concentrate” or “When a sign that says “Say No To Crack!” you to pull up your jeans” or “Your wife wants to stop at the gas station to see if they’ve got the new Darrell Waltrip Budweiser wall clock” or “You think the last words to the Star Spangled Banner are “Gentlemen, start your engines.” or “Play Ball…”
Did you know that here in the Northeast we are having a earlier than unusual humming bird season? That’s something to smile about.
So do you really think that after all of these draconian climate control measures, the earth will essentially get cooler? Nobody has exactly really said that.
NBP Shootings in Chicago rose from 718 through April 2020 to 997 so far in 2021. And homicides are already at 87. In case to you are wondering, NBP I means “Not By Police”.
I do also listen to PGA Golf on XM/Serius. That’s a bundle of laughs, A golf match on the radio! A lot of people don’t understand that except sociopaths.
The Answer:
Australia is the de facto largest Island in the World but is off the list because it is a continent. (That is one of those chicken or the egg arguments. #1 is Greenland followed by New B Guinea, Borneo, Madagascar (Most biodiverse flora and fauna), Baffin, Sumatra, Honshu, Victoria, Great Britain, Ellesmere, Sulawesi, South Island, Java, North Island and Luzon. Rhode isn’t one of them. Bonus: #1 was Philadelphia with 40K. Next was NYC a with 25K followed by Boston 15K, Charlston SC 12K and Newport RI 11K. The first medical school was in Philadelphia.
If I've learned anything in life, it's that not enough people are at a loss for words.
