The Attacks on Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema is just another sign that civilized society is on the edge of precipice.
Yesterday, Russia successfully launched one of its Hypersonic missiles from a submarine. This super sophisticated missile can a travel at speeds 9 times that of sound. Anybody who thinks it passe having a modern military as a deterrent and response to country hostility it this new digital world is terribly underestimating the evil and greed in people’s hearts.

Taking out the trash is cheaper, less exhausting and less frustrating, and significantly more relaxing than flying with fellow and sometimes unruly sardines, to crowded beaches in over popular tourist destinations. Relaxation is where you find it. And it may just be around the corner.
Also disturbing is people who wear dark clothing crossing streets in the black of nights.

But, in fact, as toxic as these manipulations seem to be, most of the transactions and evasions are perfectly legal. It is the Lawmakers who enact the laws who are the problem.
The Supreme Court will be scrutinized maybe more than Kyrsten Sinima this week as they tackle a host of controversial nation dividing issues, namely abortion and guns. Dems and the left are saying in published comments that society and technology have changed and this new era requires big changes to the Supreme Court too. Often mentioned is electing justices over appointing them. But believe me, if the Court was all left and Dem as it had been for so long, the Dems and left would think it just about perfect regardless of societal changes. Most of our dire national controversies are just pain selfish and silly.

The Answer:
Pangborn and Herndon were the first to fly non-stop across the giant Pacific Ocean from Japan to Washington State. It took 41 hours. We have celebrated every aeronautical achievement known to man. but I just don’t remember hearing anything about these two daring adventurers. Of interest -- since retractable landing gear had yet to be invented, the landing gear was jettisoned over the ocean after take-off in order to lighten the load and decrease wind resistance. Their landing without gear was so smoothly accomplished that the only damage to the airplane was a bent propeller. The plane resides in the North Central Washington Museum, in Wenatchee.
