Today's Tids Issue 5,157
Vote marketing:
By God, it’s a May – beautiful, happy, active May! We open May for some reason celebrating communism, the most oversold bad Idea in the history of civilized society. And ten every week something great happens like, of course, next Sunday for Moms and greeting card companies. After eh Huzzahs for Mom we will hear the clopping of hooves down the stretch at Churchill Downs and the month ends to the roar of Indy cars charging towards the checkered flag. And in between we enjoy more flowers and trees filling out in bright greens for another summer journey
A couple of cows were smoking pot and playing cards. Yep, the steaks were pretty high. (From the Tids Groaner Laureate)
I saw a newspaper report yesterday about Prez Joe B going to push for the good riddance of incandescent bulbs. He says the change over to the longer life new bulbs will save US consumers $3 billion per year. Wow, that’s a big number. Politicos like to say big numbers. But in reality, considering that there are currently 129 Million US households, the savings per HH will be about $2 per month, which is not such a big number. Beware of politicians with big numbers. Personally I like Incandescent’s because they keep my head warm when reading at night.
The Question:
There must be a way of telling people they have bad breath without hurting their feelings. Name two possibilities.
The Headlines:
--Markets Open In Tank, But Go Positive At Closing; Techs Breathe Again Supply Chain Issues Has Manufacturing Sector Slowing.
--Political Junkies Looking To Ohio Senate Raise To Determine Potential Of Power Of Trump Going Froward.

LaLa-Pelose going to Ukraine is all about Midterm elections. In fact, everything you'll hear and see during the next six months will be about the Dems fear of losing the house and senate and the Repubs dreams of getting them. Biden's exec orders will be about saving the Dem majority. And he probably thinks that wiping out student debt will be the biggest voter payoff of all. Except for all the voters who don't quite understand Americans love affair with irresponsibility.
The world tongue-twister champion just got arrested. I hear they're gonna give him a really tough sentence.
A new study about raising children as vegetarians confirms older studies that say such children are typically shorter, weaker, underweight and that they are low in bone mineral content. I make a lot of jokes about my love of unhealthy eating (Or are they jokes?) ) but the fact is I believe that balance is the essence of everything good and means everything from food to politics to conversations. Hopping into trendiness may make peeps feel accepted but it is not always the smart way to go.
If we shouldn’t eat at night, why do they put a light in the fridge?
Repub politicians are walking a tightrope these days. I'm hearing that many of are trying to say we need policies like those of Trump, but they always add I am nothing like Trump nor do they believe his persona as being good for America, Repub candidates knew they can only win in most instances by carving out big chunk of independents and all Trump disaffected Repubs.
A ding in the side of his new car gave the man a small depression.
I can appreciate people who like to help animals in the wild, and they do a very good job if it. But as far as I can tell animals in the wild survived well BP – Before People-
April flowers are being drown by May showers.
I played nine holes of golf this morning at the break of dawn. My friend and I were one of only two twosomes on the course It was beautiful and crazily relaxing. I felt a drop or two of rain, but that was it. Too many people looked at the weather forecast and stayed away without considering their own judgement. That's a little like our new world with too much information. Like in our current stock market bleakness where too many people have been led to believe that there should be a downturn because the market was up too long. A trendsetting mega force like twitter and Facebook can instantly convince the hordes that something's good or bad after being pummeled by fever pitch opinions Are we too easily led?
The Answer:
If a friend has bad breath just say, "Well, I'm bored. Let's go brush our teeth." Or, "I've got to make a phone call. Hold this gum in your mouth." Disgusting. O no, I mean the Tids question.
The unsaid part of "This is fascinating!" is "to me."
And that says a lot about today's world.
Happy new week, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
