What ls humorous to me his that he was joined by 10 other Sherpa guides who brought up ropes to help the onslaught of amateur climbers set to arrive in late May. I guess the statistics associated with these climbs should be classified under the heading, “People who have summited Everest who are not Sherpas.” Several thousand climbers have made it the top in the 70 years since it has been open to the public. Over 300 have died.

The convoluted logic of some politicians is to make everything more expensive so that inefficiency wouldn’t look so bad. 

 

Minimum wage is meant to be a starting basic wage for mainly pretty unskilled jobs.. To get higher wages workers should be paid for contributing more value than though government edict. Increased wages for now apparent improved contributions is basically a socialist concept. Now if companies, communities and states want to train people so they can better themselves, contribute more and earn better, than that's a good thing.
