China Doesn’t Blink.

Today's Tids Issue 5.624

Near, Far, Middle; East is a Beast:

The GDP number just came out at a 3% growth. and it surprised Economists. That is the kind of good news for an economy that often has Wall Street selling. We’ll see. And you can be sure that Kamand Tim will be selling that too.

Conservatives aren’t resistant to change, they are just cautious about what changes to adopt.

The stock Market and in particularly Nasdaq is loving China and its new stimulus program. But international strategists are not so much in love with the big country. One of the real danger situations rarely reported is the China creep into the Philippines. They are not being subtle about it at all. A problem for us is the 1951 Philippine Mutual Defense Treaty Article IV – a promise to respond to armed attacks on Philippine armed forces anywhere in the South China Sea. The latest act was at Sabina Shoals where a China CG ship deliberately rammed a Philippine CG ship. It was just one in a series of escalatory acts, but the loudest yet. This is a continuation of increasingly more aggressive Chinese acts around the shoals of the Spratly islands. They continue to push testing the waters so to speak. But nobody steps up and so they just push a little harder. America wants to talk. China doesn't. So there is a problem -- the US doesn't step in per the treaty and loses credibility. They step in and a war nobody wants is ignited.

Regardless of all the techno-advancements and cultural crapola oozing into society today, I would just hope that everybody is still able to be touched by the emotions of beautiful music.

Some guy said, “I’d like to buy a singing group.” His friend says, “Do you mean a choir?” “Ok, fine,” replies the guy, “I want to acquire a singing group”. (Thanks, TPL)

Well, it's been a tough TidsPickin season with the last tow weeks going 8-8. There’s been a stream of big downside surprises and out of nowhere wins. So, we are at 27-21 (56.3%) just squeaking by on the edge of mediocrity.  Ok, tonight's game is between two 1-2 teams who happen to be fierce historic rivals in big football markets, The NY Giants against the Dallas Cowboys. The good news for the Giants is that the Cowboys have the worst run defense of them all and the G’s won't have to face the jeopardy of Danials throwing the ball. I pick Dallas. I’m loving Buffalo and Baltimore and Vikes-Pack as the games of the week. Josh Allen has been great for the Bills, but Baltimore is tough. And the Ravens’ Derrick Henry can change dimensions. Balt needs it more than Buff, but I go Buff. The other really interesting game is the Vikes and Pack in a huge, meaningful Conference matchup. iThe vikes have just played great football, And the Pack has shown deep overall strength playing well without star QB. Im picking the Vikes.

Some of the other more intriguing matchups' this week are Seahawks-Lions, Eagles-Bucs, Falcons-Saints and Rams-Bears. I have to pick Detroit at home even as Seattle continues to surprise. TB disappointed last week and the Eagles finally showed up in the end. I still have doubts about Philly, but I think I'll take the m. The Saints faltered and so did the Falcons last week. But this is a very important game for these two rivals. In my mushy mind it’s a coin flip. For that reason, I go home team, Atlanta. The Bears are actually playing football this year. The Rams have been so-so but I think coming off last week's comeback they will beat Chicago in a close one. In some other somewhat decent games, I have KC beating the Chargers, Commanders trumping the Cards, Jets smothering the resurgent Broncs rookie QB and Steelers beaming after V over the Colts. The loser bowl this week includes the Titans-Dolphins, Browns-Raiders, Jags-Texans, Bengals-Panthers and Pats Niners. I like Titans, Niners, (Sorry my Beloveds) Browns in a tossup, Texans and Bengals (Sorry Carolina, not two weeks in a row.) Even though there are still a couple of undefeated teams don’t you have teh feeling that there is not one dominant team out there. And that goes for Buffalo too.

Kamala keeps on saying she wants to be president for all Americans. Then how come she is waging a war against the rich and corporations that create jobs? The rich are people too.

I mean, I like Johhny Cash, but why is he the first musician to have a statue in the Capital buildings. Now if the Dems get in charge of congress, they will be pushing for all liberal celebs to be there too. Then some clown will put neon signs outside the marble edifice. And the senate chamber will look like a made for TV game show, screaming audiences and all. FYI, each state is allowed to put two statues in the Hall. Most are founders and states people. Arkansas chose JohnnyI guess Orville Faubus wasn't available.

Have you ever noticed that the first page in the communist playbook says go after the big bad corporations.

The RCP Poll average has it today Harris 49.2, Trump 47.2. There are 12 Polls included. KH leads in 8 (Including Fox) and DT in 2 (Rasmussen and Atlas/Intel) and there are two ties (Quinnipiac and NYTimes/Siena) Kam’s biggest margins are in the Reuters, M. Consult and NBC News polls. The current RCP electoral map shows it 276 Harris and 262 Trump.  So, the Trumpster has a lot of work ahead of him. The good news for the Repubs has the Senate 50 to 44 in their favor with 6 tossups. The House race is currently listed as 207 Repubs to 196 Dems and 32 tossups. If Kam makes it, the Repubs and America desperately need the House and Senate.

"I also say to my friends, there's 290 million people in the US, and it comes down to these two people," Steven Wright continued. "I say it'd be better to randomly pick somebody. A guy painting his barn in Kansas. These black cars pull up and they get out and say, 'Congratulations, Mr. President.' And then the guy says, 'Just a minute, let me finish painting this.' Let's avoid all this [expletive]. He'd be president and he hasn't told one lie to the public." One of Steven Wright’s rules is not talk about politics, but that was his comment about being baffled about “at how two of the most disliked candidates in modern history are at the top of the major parties' tickets – Hillary and Trump. I’m thinking he would be Saying the same thing about today. “These two are the best we got out of 340 million people.

This Tids is much too long. And tedious. Yes, Tedious makes it longer.

Will Kamala be there for those American spouses of police who are now widows or widowers because of careless political left leaning rhetoric, and irresponsible media?

If Microsoft's AI isn’t more intuitive than its Spell-Check the world is doomed.
