Happy Valentines Day, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
I'll never forget making Valentines Day cards in school -- Red Craft paper and white doilies and that goopy paste that smelled pretty good. And then you hoped that somebody in the front row might like your card and smile a smile back to you. And if he or she did, it felt special, and you were too young to know what love is. But it felt special. And one day somebody accepted that card for keepers. And you grew together, and on each Valentines Day, you smiled again at each other. And life became two as one, and hearts floated together. And fought battles together. Yet life ends, and one is left behind. Yet somehow, that person so sad in the void remembers every moment spent together. And you smile, a warm and knowing smile. And you look up and feel a smile for you. Love never ends. Nor do the tears of happiness.
It so doesn't appear that Washington DC is taking time off for romance.
I would. never let the super con man Putin set the terms for peace in Ukraine.
