Today's Tids Issue 5757
Loosen Up:
When the Tids returns on Monday, you all will be coming off a sunnier Sunday evening. “Spring ahead”. Or just check all your digital devices that do it themselves.
I have to wonder if I had been schooled during the 1990’s and later if I would have this burning desire to become a quantum physicist.
Of all people, it was super liberal Gavin Newsome who affirmed my belief that the worst thing we have now in America is this blind adherence to one party. Somehow party leaders believe in absolutes, when where individual humans are involved, there can be know absolutes. Yes, Newsome said yesterday that he did believe in biological boys playing on girls' teams and he was slammed by the close minded for having an opinion of his own that he believed in.
You have to wonder of all those good people who do great things for the disadvantaged and a handicapped in society feel if they are sitting on the edge of a cliff.
Cows with a sense of humor are called teh laughingstock.
The Question:
Why does gallows humor not always have a punchline? Bonus: Why might K-R-O-K-O-D-I-A-L be the chemical formular for water?

Not caring a damn about ever eating an avocado which means I don't have to worry about tariffs on Mexico
The key to picking winners in the Mach Madness Pools: How good is the SEC’. National media loves the SEC just as they have loved the Big Ten in the past. But as always there are talented upstarts lurking, and the clippings are meaningless when the first whistle blows. Outside of SEC land the folks will be loving Cinderellas rising above and taking down big U professionals.
There are about 345 million people in the USA and to think that one half walks in lockstep 180 degrees from the others walking in lockstep is statistically impossible. Thats why Journalists must report what they see happening rather than what they want to happen... that of course if the Jounalists aren’t walking in lockstep.
My humor is a lot like Covid… It’s tasteless, not meant for large crowds, and if you get it, you’re pretty sick.
Some financial analysts are looking at today’s job numbers a ittle differently than normal because of the current Government intrusion into the labor marketplace may change the economic normal the basis for projections in the future.
There was a question from an intelligent fair-minded reader about a news Item in yesterday's Tids about Trump removing protections for Ukrainians fleeing the gruesome war zone war for safety in the USA. Trump did say he is looking at it, but “We're not looking to hurt anybody, we're certainly not looking ot hurt them”. But some in the WH are at the 540K Ukrainian sector as part of an overall broader objective to which is "an effort to strip legal status from more than 1.8 million allowed to enter the US under temporary humanitarian parole programs.” The Ukrainian news bit was not a result of the Oval Office explosion but only used by headline writers to heighten the tension and anger towards Trump. My guess is that it would not happen./
Now the food elitists are after what I consider the basis for a tasty life – butter. Arrrrrghh!
When some people see hearts and initials of lovers carved in a tree, they wonder why so many people carry knives on a date.
The Answer:
Sometimes, they prefer to keep you hanging. Bonus: Because it is H to O.
Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-b-o-d-y!!
