Today's Tids Issue 5,774
Adjust:
DC looks like a muddlement,
The Dems are troublebent.
Today the average American,
Is living in befuddlement.
There are many ways to look at the current daily surprises. The rapid disruption of normality always creates more questions than answers. The questions become darker when opposing forces weave disaster around them. I know what I see and what I think I understand, and I'm just sitting and watching. But sometimes thoughtless over reaction is as harmful as an initial action. Maybe nether of them are harmful at all. So maybe that doesn't make sense either. But that's the status of where we are – agog. So, Im waiting.
Is it time to buy on the dip? Or is this some new kind of a dip?
I'm reading my loveable, one-time great newspaper, and it is hard to tell if the Red Sox are playing at all. It’s a disgrace.
The Women's NCAA game tonight between USC and UConn should be a great one. Page Bueker, UConn’s super player has been on fire lately.
The Question:
There are many flavors of Doritos. How do you think they are ranked for deliciousness?

Well, it finally happened says a smarter than average reader. He sent me a picture of Chin-Lung Hu standing on first base. Just as Abbott and Castello said. I’m smiling.
Have you ever noticed when getting sucked into an internet story by an alluring headline that the story takes several paragraphs o get to the point of the headline and the result is generally underwhelming and irrelevant to society at large. And that goes for right and left opinion writers and gossipers.
There’s no truth to the rumor that President Trump will pardon French conservative Marine Le Pen just convicted of empbezzleing EU funds
There is no question that the USA needs to slash government spending and create new efficiencies to reduce the cost of Government operations. But as far as tariffs go and isolating the US from the rest of global economy, i see it as reducing the size of the market for USA made goods.
The biggest flaw in this cost reduction argument is that it doesn’t take into consideration stopping politicians who buy votes by promising spending.
Smart companies will adjust to play the game within the new set of rules.
Germany is preparing for war with Russia. They don't trust Putin at all. Germany has had strict rules against incurring debt, but Parliament just voted to exempt military spending from that. If Germany two countries away from the border is that worried, think about all those other countries on the Russia border like Finland, Norway and two of the Baltics. How about Poland and others closer than Germany like Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. What does Germany know?
Retail investors have poured in $32 billion buying on the dip the past month. Most have spent on Nvidia, AMD, Meta Tesla and other techs. But the dips keep moving downward, and dip buyers are backing away.
The difference between Musk and regular politicians buying votes is that Musk uses his own money.
The Final four in the Men's side are all the four Number 1’s. With NIL and the Portal, that is more than likely the way it will be from now on.
I just write what I see.
The Answer:
Hu! I only thought there was one flavor of Doritos! Number one is Cool Ranch which is followed by Nacho Cheese, Spicy B Nacho, Spicy Sweet Chili, Taco, Blazing Buffalo and Ranch, Verde Salsa, Cooler Ranch, Nachos Cheesier and #10, Pizza Supreme. Number 11 is Fiery Habanero.
While hiking in the woods, Nate and Sam found this huge rock which had an old iron lever attached to it. Etched into the rock was the following inscription: "If this lever is pulled, the world will come to an end!" Nate wanted to pull the lever and see what would happen, but Sam, being a paranoid pessimist, greatly feared this! He said to Nate that if he tried to pull the lever, he'd shoot him! In a daring attempt, Nate lunged for the lever, and sure enough, Sam shot him! What is the moral of this story? Better Nate than lever!
What did you expect for a Monday Morning.
