The beginning of 2026 will start speculation and races for the President in 2028. Top Dems according to Politico are Newsome, Kamala, Buttigieg, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Roh Khanna. Others who could jump in are Booker, Mark Kelley, Elissa Slotkin, Rubin Gallego and Chris Murphy. Then there is a list of Dem Govs like Pritzker, Wals, and Whitmer. On the Repub side, JD Vance is clearly in the lead. But don't rule out Marco Rubio, Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Spencer Cox, Ted Cruz and a bunch of Governors like DeSantis, Kemp, Sara Huckabee Sanders and Glenn Youngton. Who will be surprised?
Tomorrow is the first of the big College Bowl games. The Cotton Bowl features Ohio State against mami. OS should own it. The other three key games aore on 1/1/2026/ The Orange has Texas Tech - Oregon, the mighty Rose has the most anticipated match between Indiana and Alabama. The Sugar ends up the day with Ole’ Miss and Georgia. I have no idea who a will win Bama, Hoosiers or Tech-Ducks but I feel comfortable picking Georgia over Miss.
Trumpites continue to try to justify Trump putting his name on the Kennedy Cenetr and it is just plain laughable.
I see alleged drug boats being blown out of the water, and I can only think of one thing – video games.
Though, I am all for ridding the nation of destructive drugs. No, RFK Jr., I'm not asking for your help.
While drugs tragically destroy lives, police statistics nationally are showing the rapid growth of illicit drug impairment driving as a new menace to general society too. My personal opinion is that therie s no way to rationalize anything positive about illicit drugs in a society.
Don’t make any pour decisions on New Years eve.
