There’s only one thing.

Today's Tids Issue 5,966

Beyond Yourself:

Happy Spring, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!! As of yesterday, the days are getting longer. So, if it feels like never ending gloom and cold at times, it is only temporary because those little buds sleeping now with shifting rays, they sense they’ll be peeping out then

One of the hardest things about getting old is not knowing whwre you are when you wake up from naps each day

I'm hoping that the President is quieter this week so wc all can focus on the kindness and giving, caring spirit of Christmas.

The Question:

What is Myrrh?  Bonus: What letters would you write at the bottom of your sock drawer? Extra Bonus: The seven letters that compose the name of this small European country are the most commonly used letters inthe English Language. What is the country?

The Headlines:

--Renewed Faith in Future of AI has Tech Stocks Spurting; Rally Expected to dominate Shortened Week.

--Larry Ellison Personally Backs $40 Billion of Paramount Bid to Takeover Warner.

--Trump Removes 29 Ambassadors; Most Are from Africa an.d Asia.

--Lawmakers Considering Action Against AG Bondi for Now Releasing Epstein Docs to Letter of Law.

--US Takes Third Major Tanker; Trump Appoints New Envoy yo Greenland Angering Denmark; Copenhagen Calls In US Ambassador for Meeting

--Jim Beam to Close Major Facility for a Year due To $75 Million inventory Buildup as Retaliatory Tariff Measures reduce Global Sales (Jim Beam owned by Japanese Company).

Apparently, theres a Turning Point Convention going on now. I'm not following it as it appears to be just another political hate fest with plenty of nasty infighting that just doesn't seem like a good Christian Christmas attitude to me

Megalomania is part of the Christmas story. Herod didn't want to hear of a King who may be more important than him. But goodness won out.

A comedian I heard recently said he has a new concept for an HGTV Show. He's going to call it “Walls. He will help people turn the Vacuous Open Concept" into combinations of comfortable, cozy rooms. He said this is particularly important for marriage. After arguments large and small, wives don't like the view of husbands cringing in a corner of the one wide open room.

I picked against the Pats for last night's game and I'm really happy I lost. Drake Maye is cool. KC is definitely out of it and so is Baltimore. Green Bay probaly is too and they were all big picks to be dominant in September. Seattle, Jax and Carolina came though big time in their key games. To me, the hottest AFC teams now are Houston, LA Chargers and Jax. And Pittsburgh is finding itself.

I don't know about you but releasing 350 entirely blacked out pages does not seem in keeping with the spirit of the Epstein documents law.

Judging by the crowds at grocery stores today, there’s going to be a lot of great meals in Rhode Island this Christmas time. And I suspect many shoppers were there for groceries to share with those who may have nothing at all to enjoy other than the kindness of others.

The Answer:

Myrrh is a yellowish-brown to reddish-brown aromatic gum resin with a bitter slightly pungent taste obtained from a tree (especially Commiphora myrrha of the family Burseraceae) of eastern Africa and Arabia. It is often used as a fragrance, to flavor food products, and for its potential health benefits. Bonus: OICURMT.  Extra Bonis: The country is Estonia. And they are the seven most used letters despite what Wheel of Fortune tells us. Maybe it will help youat Wordle.

This tune always makes me smile:
