Its always hearts-a-thumpin' time when we enter the month where the center of everything is Valentines Day. Oh, it starts with a shivering groundhog wondering why somebody is pulling him out of his nice warm home. And I still remember my enthusiasm over it also being Washington and Lincoln's B-Day month. Even though now it is for all presidents, I still focus on the 12th and 22nd. The grand new holiday is Super Bowl week and weekend. And February will be cold. But the warmth of romance pervasive throughout will overcome everything negative in the world, at least for a few days. Yup, it is the start of the shortest month. And to me it is always a good one.
Music doesn't need words to be a love song. As the melody begins just close your eyes and feel the emotions and you will drift into your own words of affection.
I saw a spokesperson for a major Company with a title, “Chief People Officer.” Say what? Corporate management and their advisors probably think that is nice and heartwarming. But the employees probably look at it wondering, what are they going to do to us now.

There’s a lot of cash out there in the investment communities and I believe the need to keep it active and earning will push investors to rationalize away myriad concerns.
