Texas Congressman Ben Crenshaw was an up and comer. His problem was that he is the kind of Congress person many of us would prefer, independent capable of thinking for himself and not subject to edicts. In other words, he had courage.

The macro aspects of this war are continually reported. But the micro aspects of it may be the growing human story; painful for the real Iranian people with new hopes still high in thier hearts but now feeling problems with food and other basic necessities. A lot of good people there will be fighting through the clouds of war.
I heard an interestng scenario about China and Taiwan today. As you may know, China is fixated on taking back what they think they own—an Island nation with a lot of talent. Invasion is certainly one method but I don’t believe they want a war that will inhibit their economic growth plan. The otehr way is a quarantine where their very largest-in-the-world navy is now capable of stopping marine transport into that country, that country which depends on imports for basic sustenance, -- food and energy. China could literally starve Taiwan into submission.
Nobody wants more snow, but the segue to spring often brings ice storms. And, that is a real problem,
I had this story to tell about Deion Sanders son Shilo and his bankruptcy case due to his debt of $11Milliom plus. I thought, "How does a kid get that much money to spend, NIL? Hey that could be a good story about too much money, too fast, too young. But it wasn’t that at all so I spiked it. You can look it up if you want. It’s always best to look beyond the first few lines of a headline and opening paragraph.
The Arnie Palmer Golf Tourney begins today, and it will be a good one to watch if I'm not outside in the snow getting a tan on what promses to be a balmy Sunday.
The Answer:
Number one in the World is Zurich. Number one in the US is Seattle. The rest of the top ten are Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Vienna, Munich, Helsinki, Melbourne, Seattle, Edinburgh and Boston.
I haven’t had a song for a couple of days, but this is one of the all time pop best. It was number one on Billboard for 14 weeks in 1992. Her story of hopelessness was one of the saddest ever:
