Susam Bennett was the first voice of Siri. She wasn't paid by Apple, nor did she ever get royalties'. She was a voiceover actor who got paid standard wages by a voice recording company. Amazon never announced who was the voice of Alexa, but a researcher found her to be Nina Rolle of Denver.
Someday AI will write a song about the loneliness of being a digital voice, and it will blend the voices of Nina and Susan to sing it as a duet. Anything is possible now. If I was a geek in a lab, I'd be working on it.
