Sorry folks, But I spent several hours yesterday watching a guy with far more brains than I trying to figure out why my typing machine went berzerk yesterday morning. It turned out to be misbehaving Anti-virus software. If it is not one thing it's another. The machine wouldn't reach out which means it isn’t capable of typing at all when the clouds drift ayat.

There is a diversion of opinions between two important Trump appointees -- The Fed’s Warsh and Treasury’s Bessent. Bessent is making “unusual” moves to control the price of money and Warsh wants a Hands off policy that allows the markets to do “the Heavy Lifting”. Some of the most powerful people on Wall Street agree with Warsh like Stanley Druckenmiller who called the (Bessent) plan “Price Management and not liquidity management, and could ruin the creditability of the US Treasury.
I sat on my watch. At least I was in time.
The Mayoral races around the country are much important now than some of thc congressional races. They may be the canary in the mine warning of insidious seepage. It is at the city level where unamerican breeding begins. In Providence a Social democrat running against a good balance incumbent Mayor is seen on tape saying he will make Providence a “Laboratory for Municipal Socialism.” And of course, there is Mamdani and others looking to follow his lead. They are looking at new worlds here not American. Unfortunately, though there is the other overexuberant side issuing some misguided information about developments in places like Detroit and Dearborn Michigan. Conspiracies are saying the Muslim Mayors are injecting their sharia law into their operation of the city. You know, like the Puritans did in Massachusetts in the 1600’s. That's why we have a constitution that vows separation of church and state. And these new mayors regardless of religions must take an oath to that constitution when sworn into office. And they will be watched.
So apparently RSVP'ing back to a wedding invite 'maybe next time' isn't the correct response.
It is so easy to create digital herding across the world now. The problem is just how many people join in the marauding just because they see it on their phone. People want to be part of things, but the question should always be who is creating the things, And wait til AI figures out it can get masses of humans to do whatever it wants. This is why the clamping down on social meida is a good thing except fro social media stockholders.
Little RI will get $49 Mil from Meta. RI loves lawsuit proceeds and use them to make their bad spending decisions go away. Are their any earmarks associated with the big Meta Settlement, like its for the victims and the children?. It appears that Tik Tok and others will also be filling state coffers..
Rhode Island TV is also loaded with many Massachusetts political candidates’ commercials. Some of them look better than our candidates, Will RI voters will be disappointed when they don't se e those Mass names on their ballots?
In the RI Dem primary an accomplished corporate executive woman is rerunning against your basic pollical hack incumbent governor and she is sounding like just another political hack herself. Sorry for the local stuff. But it does get weird here.
It's that time of year to start with the Autumn jokes, but I doubt if you would Fall for them.

Lea and Perrins were of course the inventors of Worcestershire Sauce, Nobiliy had asked these two Chemists from Worcester England to replicate Indian Bengali Sauce. Their first effort was two strong, so they stored it in barrels in the basement. A year later they decided to taste it again and the aging turned it into delicious! They sold out immediately when introduced in 1837.
