As you have probably read by now, Dolly Parton just died at the age of 80. I really don't know much about her except what I read in the papers; hear in her voice, see in her smile. I see she has the respect of all those people in her business. I’ve seen her home and the chapel she built next to it. She was a good person. We probably need a lot more like her. She was always herself.
I think the stock market is as confused about world events as I am. That tells me to be cautious.
These days are lazy
And somewhat hazy,
But that's just fine
Until it hits my mind.
Is there anything more comforting than long morning shadows across rolling green fields caresssd by deep forests? The due glistening like diamonds.

Around here girls HS Field Hockey is declining. It's been a great Fall sport forever. But soccer is s eating away at it and it is expected that “Tag Football” will be dominant in a couple of years. One of the issues, kids just don't learn about field hockey early enough. But real football is all over TV. Tradition doesn’t stand a chance anymore.
Everybody but everybody is getting into Mahjong these days That’s a good way to ruin a good thing.
