For Rational Exuberance:
I
hate when stocks are at all-time highs. That’s when everybody
starts talking about a potential drop for any of several reasons. You know how behavioral
economics works. Ask the new Nobel laureate. But on the other hand, behavioral
habits could panic others on the sideline into buying before it is too late to
hitch a ride on the rocket to the moon. You know how people are, they react to psychological
pressures regardless of the evidence. The evidence today says the basics are
good, and that is really what you like best, not imaginary “too high’s”.
I’m
actually more worried about hacking than anything else. It
is just seeming to be so easy these days to get inside somebody’s private affairs.
I hear of a negative happening just about every day. One of the worst mistakes
in history – letting commerce in on the Social Security numbers.
Shirts
are pressed for cash.
The
Question:
There have been about 11 coaches over the years on
The Voice. Who do you think fans rank as best?
The

Yesterday
I attempted a joke, saying “Progressive Insurance must be
owned by Bernie Sanders.” It turns out I wasn’t that far off. It is actually
owned by Peter Lewis who after George Soros is the largest contributor to left
wing causes.
I
never consider “diets sweeping the nation!”.
United
Health Profit rose 26%. I guess making money on healthcare
isn’t that difficult after all.
A
lot of people are apparently edgy over the promised
release of never before seen documents about the assassination of Kennedy. I
wonder why.
A
lot of people fear showing their support for the US Presidency
as vicious social media attacks escalate. I thought liberals were kind.
The
Voice went onto the duets, which I always like best. There
were a couple of good ones and few mundane. I personally liked the last one between
Adam Pearce and Whitney Fanimore. I could have taken either one, and was glad
Whitney was stolen. I also liked Chris Weaver and Kathrina Feigh, Noah Mac,
Moriah Formica, and Lucas Holiday. In two hours, you sure don’t get a lot of
singing. Thank God for DVR1
It’s
nice that Steve Bannon is idealistic and want to cleanse
the Government of non- responding Repubs. But I think he is nuts for doing so.
A winner in the capitol with leanings to Repubs is better than loser ideologue sitting
on the sidelines. You can disagree with the progress of the Repub Congress, but
without them being there, the Dems would be on a rampage… and it wouldn’t be
pretty.
Trump
just did a huge disservice to the country. He urged Hillary
to run again. God help us.
We’ve
had National emergencies over hurricanes, fires and mass
murders in the past several months. But, now we have learned that the Governor
of Florida is declaring a national emergency is looming due to the speech by a
conservative named Richard Spencer! Yikes. The first amendment is an emergency.
The
Answer:
#1 is the very likable Adam Levine. Next is the
other old timer Blake Shelton followed by Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson,
Pharrell Williams, Christina Aquilera, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Shakira, Miley
Cyrus and Cee Lo Green, Personally I would move Usher and Pharrell up to 3 and 4
and Cee lo ahead of Hudson, Miley ahead of Christina and Hudson down to the
bottom. I have to say, Hudson is getting better.
Not
much today, but better than nothin’.
