Delay, delay, delay.

Today's Tids Issue 4,227
For October Love:

Good morning October! And tis a happy one indeed, if you turnoff the TV and morning news talk shows. I often start my October announcement Tids with the word “Boo!”, as the glorious month is well known for scary stuff, this year made even more frightening by the barrage of political commercials leading up to an important election. Beyond the cacophony of visceral rhetoric is a magnificent month of pure, unadulterated beauty. The month of comfortable days, delightful winds and trees turning into artists pallets. The World Series begins, as does basketball and hockey. Football, soccer and field hockey are well underway and fans are learning about the reality of their teams. People have seen the truth about highly promoted new TV shows and are tuning out in disappointment hoping that Netflix will fill the gap. This is the transformation month in many ways. Where some anticipated new beginnings flop end while others that surprise are applauded and praised. Turn off the tube and enjoy what nature delivers so warmly, without conflict. Yes the pumpkins are painting the world orange, and crisp air is comforting the soul.

When I don’t remember how some function on my phone works, I just press the screen until something pops up. I remember when my desk top was giving me problems I just drop kicked the tower across the room. Ouch. Those screaming transistors was worse than nails on backboard. What is a blackboard anyhow?

It could be a sad day in America if the left took over and maintained their propensity to snuff out opposition with extreme verbal violence…or worse. What exactly would one half of an America look like? Not too pretty I Would expect.

Every young lad and lassie in the 1940’s rhapsodized over the P-51 Mustang. And the pages of many a school book were filled with drawings of America’s favorite fighter plane.

Can you still say “lassie”?

Democrat words and accusations come flying out like bullets sprayed from an AK 47, and all they really are, are a means for getting delay on the Kav vote. Pure and simple.

I would much rather think of love.
You know those funny feelings that are entirely unexplainable, yet incredibly sensational. It is what I believe in the end we all strive for most. To be loved; the thrill, the absolutely perfect sensation of someone caring, feeling deeply for you – a parent, a friend, as lover, a spouse. How the light of deep love can reach down, to penetrate, to brighten the darkest of moments. Yet, what is truly best is being able to give it back with a full heart, without reservations.

The Question:
What was CDP 101? Bonus: What do you think are the Ten Worst States for wealthy Americans?

If an alien spaceship landed in the USA, the crew would have to report back to their leaders: (now imagine these words being spoken in an echo chamber with beeps and blats in the background) “From what we can see, Captain K475Blover, everything on earth is all about abortion and nothing else. We should not attempt to colonize.”

You would think by now that the USA Ryder cup organization would be getting the clue that the Europeans really get up for this every other year super event, and personal yearlong records don’t count for much.

It is interesting to note that 11 of the 12 European Ryder Cup team members have homes in the USA.

The extra week for “investigation” only gives the left more time to manufacture last minute claims against Kavanaugh’s character. They have already begun to talk about the investigation as being inadequate, in an effort to lay groundwork for another delay. The really problem in our country is that too many Americans appear unable to see though BS. (Of course, if he is guilty of something, then I would have to write along explanatory Tidlet.)

The new TV show, “God Friended Me” has a chance to catch on – even in this fractured society.

Whatever happened to two-way streets?

The Antics of the Dems during the past few weeks will most likely reunite the Repubs into an energetic voting machine come November.

I had a chance to talk to a highly regarded expert on intellectual property the other day. He put into perspective outside of political fogging the pervasiveness of China property theft. He noted that much of what is stolen, cannot be incorporated into products sold into the US or places like UK, because then suits can be implemented. But, the Chinese can sell without fear of legal intervention products that incorporate pilfered knowledge into their own giant marketplace. A collateral problem is the fate of US companies manufacturing in China who may be jeopardizing their own valued research developments. Through their marketing efforts within China, theses American companies may be teaching China companies how to market against them in their own country. Thus, the reason for China tariffs.  Yes, the theft of intellectual property by China is quite real and very threatening. China may be that big red apple in the garden of economic paradise.

When did Joy Behar become spokesperson for America?

Why would anybody only capable of seeing half of America ever be considered aa reasonable spokesperson for anything?

Getting the knights ready for battle went right down to the squire.

The NE Pats talked their fans down from the bridges yesterday with a better than average win over a previously unbeaten foe. Of course, if on this coming Friday the Red Sox lose the opener in the MLB playoffs, the bridges will be crowded with jumpers again. (Note: the price you pay for receiving the Tids each weekday is allowing the editor to vent about his favorite teams).

Speaking of venting, I feel for the Browns fans who yesterday had to endure a heartbreaking loss. But, from what I can see, this is a team on the move upward.

Senator Booker really showed America in his Thursday time to speak on how deceptively Lawyers can manipulate words.

A pretty good football coach, Mark Whipple of UMass, was suspended for a game because he said after what he considered a very bad call by officials, “They raped us.”

The TV critics were talking affectionately following The Hill’s appearance on the Murphy Brown show. But, they didn’t seem to be giving much ink to the fact that many viewers clicked off when the losing candidate showed up.

The Answer:
The Sony CDP 101 hit the markets in1982, and it was the first ever Compact Disc Player. Bonus: Wealthy folks are not happy about high state and local taxes, including the often- onerous estate tax. The worst state for the wealthy has plenty of that upper crust making it there – Washington. The rest of the worst ten are (Socialist) Vermont, (Nearly socialist) Oregon, (Wannabe Socialist) Massachusetts, Left leaning Minnesota, (Totally socialist) USSRI - Rhode Island, Illinois, Maryland, Liberal New York and the state that used to paragon of effective capitalism until smothered by Democrats – Connecticut. Are you seeing any patterns here?

The good news for Americans is that conglomerates have fallen out of favor.

I just got back from strolling along my dawning street on this beautiful October morn. In the late 1770’s, George W and his French pal Comte de Rochambeau strode this same pleasant road, probably dirt in those days of yore. Most likely they were feeling the same glows as I, because nature’s perfections don’t waver upon man’s whims. I expect they were planning the finale of a long-fought war for independence, and the eventual establishment of democracy that changed the way the world thought about government. Yes, October was October then as it is now. But I wonder, as I think about that beginning, if what they had wrought is corroding, if the hinges opening doors of trust, openness and equal opportunity are creaking a bit more loudly, and in some cases, rusting shut.

Where’s the WD-40 when you need it.
