Today's Tids Issue 4,527
Some days you just feel crazy:
Where have they all gone,
those friends of mine from years gone by. They are older now, just like me. How
many still waken to see the glowing sun, feel the warmth and anticipate the calling
of a new day. Do any who I have not seen for years think of me? There are so many
who were so close. So many who drifted away. Or was it me who didn’t look back.
Life is filled with people you loved, people you admired, people who helped you
through those days that seemed so black. Where have they all gone, these close friends
I had. Do they wonder of me? Do they remember the days we had?

It’s is starting to appear
like all of those retailers who have been slashing prices to assure a future,

Trump did not get killed yesterday.
In fact, it appears that the witnesses yesterday quelled some of the tempest,
and certainly didn’t rouse the broader citizenry. Will today’s star witness
Gordon Sondland be the first nail or will it again be overhyping. You remember Gordon,
the guy who first appeared to be the guy with firsthand knowledge that supported
the Trump explanation, who then became the story charger welcomed with open arms
by Dems. Today, he may be answering questions under the threat of possible jail
time. We’ll see.
Meanwhile,
while everybody seems to have their attention locked firmly into Washington far
away from Houston, the Dems will gather together for their next big Debate
Tonight. I think 24/7 politics is beginning to blunt people’s minds.
“Hoot”,
as in “I don’t give a…", "that’s a …", "Owls…", "the British parliament is a place
where the throngs like to holler and …"! It’s great to have access to words like
“Hoot”.
The Question:
In one swell swoop, the intro of Lans and PC networking
and the amazing multitasking capabilities of Microsoft’s innovations including
Windows, wiped out this super barely two-decade old giant growth industry – the
mini computers. Name five of the big Mini companies that said nothing can stop
us, especially puny home computers with a windows operation system.

observing from afar, I can see that Target just seems to get things right.
A lot of movies today
just look like propaganda for one agenda or another.
The media
and the ambassadors, envoys themselves keep stressing that the diplomatic service
is non-political, that they are all as pure as the driven snow. But they forget
one thing. They are humans. And 99% of humans take sides whether or not they
know it.

how come nobody ever sees them coming? It’s always like Bam, there’s a snail,
Restrictive regulation
destroys competition, the basic economic concept which still is the best way to
assure new and better jobs, and the future alive and contemporary.
How come
Auto Correct never thinks I mean what I’m writing. It’s like a government
takeover trying to regulate my word usage.
I think, that The Voice judge
Blake has the weakest team, which is unlike him. But it appears to me that the program
is trying to get away from country dominance, and attempting to spread across a
younger and broader demographic. As of last night there is one Country singer left
– Jake Hoot.
So, let’s hear
it for the Hoot-Man
The Answer:
The big five who grew rapidly and created the so-called
“Massachusetts Miracle”, and fade from view equally as fast, were DEC (Digital
Equipment Company, Data General, Wang, Prime Honeywell and Computerizing. I
used to do business, or at least try to, with these guys and many smaller breakaways
who thought they had a better idea. But whom spent most of tier time chasing money.
It’s that time of life
when you don’t get a return email from somebody, you start worrying. And that makes
you think about how may people you hold dear in your heart.
