Have a Punny Weekend:
Reasonable people may begin to believe someday that always taking rigid sides is not the best road to harmonious living. You ca do more for everybody if there is a sense of harmony in the middle Mr. Obvious strikes again.
There are no knock-knock jokes about America because freedom rings.
I personally think that it is tough for financial pros to actually pin down what is going on with the economy. In addition to the weirdness imposed upon logical thinking or at least historical analysis by a rampart disease, we have a huge government intrusion into a free-market capital system. There are a lot of forces knocking heads out there. A lot of new buttons to find before pushing.
Boaz was ruthless before he married.
Life is full of mysteries, and there aren’t just enough Sherlock Holmes.
The Question:

Here are reactions to the Joe Show from two media organizations – The Washington Post and the New York Post. Other than having the same last name, they share nothing else between them. Wapo’s Post press conference headline is; “Biden Excels at His First News Conference.” NYP posted: “Biden Lies and the media doesn’t question it.” The unity president rocks on.
I thought I had written Lord of the Rings, but my wife said a I was only Tolkien in my sleep.
As I see some of these movement gaining steam across the country, he only common denominator I see is a drive to lower standards. Not to raise the bar to assure greatness for all. But to make it easier for all to be mediocre. The left wants to grade a Americans on a curve.
It appeared to me that the retail stocks which led the way yesterday were reacting to a noticeable pickup in consumer spending following the Pork Pack payout. I heard a Financial guru saying late last night that he expects another payout in some form before the end of the year.
Did I mention that a newly elected Representative to the RI legislator proposed down grading dress in the Statehouse because dressing neatly with respect for others is too “White”. And somehow that’s achieving equality.
This week’s PGA event is match play. I kind of like that for a change.
Actually life is much simpler than a lot of people make it.

Reading between the Lines Movie Reviews:
--Promising Young Woman looks like what the title says, Promising, It stars Carney Mulligan, Lavern Cox, and Bo Burnham in a film about a very smart, quite cunning woman named Cassandra who is living a double life by night. An unexpected encounter gives Cassie a chance to right the wrongs from the past. PYM is defined as a comedy, mystery, thriller, and that alone makes me interested.
--PYW is among a handful of potential Oscar winning films. Some others you may want to see only to be current and knowledgeable. are Nomadland, Minari, Trial of the Chicago 7, The Father, News Of the World, One Night in Miami, The Mauritanian. I read reviews of most of them all and am only mildly interested, which is nothing new for me and Oscar favorites.
The Answer:
Season 3 of Succession is coming back before the end of the year. Early word has it that the new scripts are out of sight with surprises and cool twists. The top characters are Logan Roy (Brian Cox), Kendall (Jeremy Strong), T Roman (Kiera Calkin), Shiv (Sarah Snook), Tom (Matthew Macfadyen), (Greg (Nicholas Braun), Conner (Alan Ruck), Marsha (Hiam Abbass), Gerry ((J. Smith-Cameron). I think frankly itis hard to love any of these morals deprived connivers. but the show keeps you wanting more. Bonus: Number one is a hot dog in a nice soft warm bun, or a chili dog. Two is BBQ Chicken nachos ad it followed by grilled corn on the cob, Stadium Popped Corn, Burger, Steak Sammie, Soft Pretzel, Bratwurst and sauerkraut, Philly Cheesesteak, and corn dogs. I know I’d opt for a hot dog and soft pretzel and perhaps a bratwurst without Sauerkraut.
Dorian Grey jokes never get old.
Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
