Today's Tids Issue 4,857
Catching up with Exec orders:
It looks like the illegal entry problem is creeping up on Biden. More and more Americans are catching on to the Liberal scam of calling for Immigration reform when for over 200 years we have had an exceptional immigration program that allowed peoples from all over the world to experience freedom. All we have to do to avoid general chaos is enforce rules against unlawful actions at all levels of this problem. But rational behavior is more and more looking like a thing of the past in the good Ole’ USA.
I remember those days of my youth enjoying a good Guinness from time to time.
AeRCap made a $30 Billion deal with GE’s aircraft leasing unit. Now these are th two dominant Aircraft leasing companies. What’s wrong with that picture.
“The Dali Lama went into a pizzeria and said, ‘Make me one with everything.” Thanks for that to a neighborhood kid I grew up with over 80 years ago.
The Question:
Over the years there have been several good “One Season” Science Fiction TV shows. Name the top ten.

Supposedly, this was an actual washing instruction tag found on a sweater: “Turn inside out and wash in cold water so you don’t ruin it like everything else in your life.”
Whence does this expression come, Department:
Today’s expression: “The straw that broke the camel’s back.” It means… a string of annoyances that eventually lead to one final irritation that causes a person to lose their patience. The frst know n use of that was in a Melbourne Australia paper, The Age: “ It was to be remembered that it was the last straw that broke the camel’s back, and the Colony ought to do nothing to diminish its credit in the London markets, where it was already so low that nobody would come forward and lend them a shilling.” The origin of the phrase is just as obvious as it sounds. Camels were hardy workers and often were overloaded (Yes, with straw) to the point when back legs buckled or even the back was broken.
I think Oprah has jumped the shark.
And, much to my disappointment, so has NCIIS.
It used to be FAANG. Now it is Tesla Plus FAANG. These are the stocks everybody thinks will grow geometrically forever. That enthusiasm may be dampened by pullbacks that seem extraordinary, but are only so because they magnified because against optimism that is so high. But the good news is that despite retractions, the long-range outlook for Tesla plus FAANG are quite good.
Most of the written accounts of the Chauvin/Floyd case use the phrase, “White cop and black man.” Now if they were to just say, policeman kept pressure on deceased man’s head even after he said “I can’t breathe”, it would become a criminal case instead of prejudicial political referendum. The jury could still abide by their conscience to find Chauvin guilty, but for the right reasons.
The Answer:
#10 is Forever. #9 is Almost Human followed by #8 Caprica, Awake, The Middleman, Now and Again, Watchmen, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, The Prisoner and #1 Firefly. A lot of people believe it or not are still wondering what would have happened with various characters if the series had continued.
I’m finding this week that as spring fever beckons, a young man’s fancy does not turn to Tids.
