Today's Tids Issue 5,707
What are memories:
I had to watch Biden's farewell address because there was a rumor floating around that he was going to ban Cheetos as his last official act in office. When I woke up, I learned he didn't. Great presidents know the truth.
Make sure you don’t use beefstew as a password .. it’s not stroganoff.
Microsoft is trying to force me to use their AI “aid”, Co-Pilot. I’m confused enough already. Last night Biden warned of a being wary of a Tech takeover of the minds and hearts of Americans. I think I'm feeling the angst this morning with the Co-Pilot icon following me wherever I type.
The President last night announced the agreement between Hamas and Israel on a cease fire. As of now the Israeli Parliament has failed to take steps to vote on the ceasefire scheduled to begin on Sunday. Western Countries have always tried to adapt their principles and culture to the Middle East forgetting that just because they are countries with borders, they must respond reasonably like western countries. Religious differences, tribal rivalries and yes, pure hatred of the west over past manipulative incursions ake western logic irrational int the middle East.
The Question:
I had a I thought a great question – name five products m using Red Dye #3. (Candy Corn is one of them; Horrors) But I learned there were 9200 of them. So on to plan B. The FDA didn't ban all of the products yesterday. Several were banned 34 years ago when it was first discovered that animals that ate Red Dye #3 got cancer. What were the first products banned?

Yesterday I mentioned that while celebrities with cancer geta lot of press, cancer is present among wide swath of millions of humans each fighting similarly, heroically to beat it. On a similar note, Celeb Christina Applegate scoffed at the coverage of celebrities who have been assaulted by fire noting that most of them will rebuild quickly and easily while swaths of people far broader than their little enclave haven't clue on what to do. She was saying, that’s who the media should be covering.
Director David Lynch Does at 78. Thanks a lot. I still haven't figured out Twin Peaks.
Biden warned about the dominance of Oligarchs last night. Painting big business power with a broad brush isn’t good for stability in America, He probably should have taken the time to warn about AI. Most people including oligarchs think that is a dangerous scenario.
Oligarch Mark Zuckerman appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast said the Biden Admin was ruthless going after his company and belittling his employees during Covid. He said Biden operatives would threaten repercussions to regular working employees if they didn't remove information... “which was true”. He went onto say the admin was also after humor and satire on Facebook. The oligarchs are often the government nobody sees.
Cannibals see tourists as their bread and butter.
No matter how nicely I comb my hair in the morning, when I take off my winter wool hat it always looks like I just woke up.
Good news: Cabbage is one of the most nutrient dense vegetables around.... if you can get beyond the taste.
I'm great friends with 25 letters of the alphabet. I don't know Y.
The Answer:
Red Dye3 was banned for use in cosmetics like lipstick, Topical creams for pain and Skin creams. 34 years ago, they also promised to ban what they banned yesterday. The government moves slow.
You can tune a piano, but you can’t tuna fish.
Speaking of Phish – it is a band with huge followings around he USA. Here's one of their better-known songs. Phish has a once soft sound to their music. It’s good for old guys to get beyond the forties from time to time. It’s long but it infects you nicely.
