Today's Tids Issue 4,511
Clarity:
If you look to the sky,
Your feelings won’t lie
The cloud glowing sunsets
Have startling effects,
Pure emotions above.
Are like falling in love.
I find myself
screaming at a lot of things streaming.
I don’t eat anything
pumpkin flavored during this fall foodie season, just in case you want to know which
end of the squash Bell curve I live on.
One of the worst butchers, rapists
and human abusers the world has known was caught and killed, and the left
worries that words about his death were too harsh. And how about Wapo which at
first described the depraved soul as an, “Austere, Religious, Scholar”.
New scientific evidence supports the theory
that a massive entity crashed into the earth about 13,000 years ago causing
extreme cooling and the deaths of many large creatures like Woolly Mammoths and
Sabre Tooth Tigers. Apparently it is all about the discovery of platinum typically
found in meteors and now discovered and collected from White Pond in Elgin South
Carolina. Tracing platinum discoveries have led Scientists to determine that
tis “Younger-Dryas” climate event was not just North American or even northern hemisphere
but global. Other scientific communities attribute the eradication of animals
to natural climate change, perhaps with contributions from an impact. The
universe has never been static, and it isn’t today. Some Californians say it was
the result of Christopher Columbus, and that supporting reports of that written
by contemporary papyrus bloggers had been redacted..

One cerebral reader writes
to say he has several clues that he uses regularly to be sure of the difference
between Francis and Frances. They include the deep voice of Francis the talking
horse, and the fact that dot on the “i” represents a drop of sperm. What people
won’t go through to be proper in life.
The best college football game
this weekend will be between Florida and Georgia. Yes, the SEC, again. Clemson
has dropped to 4th in the playoff standings, and I have to think that
the current undefeated NCAA champion is a victim of weak schedule blues. This Saturday
they play Wofford. Yet I believe there is no reason to overlook Tigers come
playoff time. Ohio State is looking very strong is year, and may be the big factor,
that is, if they can get by Michigan.

This leftist network’s
favorite spokesperson on getting Trump is my Congress person, a scary little
individual who I can’t do anything about in all Democrat RI. The feeling of
being a helpless voter is about as frightening as it gets in the USA.
I haven’t the remotest
idea where I left the TV control.
And, the streaming wars continue.
AT&T’s shares went up rapidly this morning because they priced their new
HBO offering at $14.99. That’s higher than Netflix at $13.99. Amazon Prime costs
$10. Bucks a month but you also get all of eth Amazon services including free
shipping on orders. Apple and Disney are coming to market well under $10.00. I
expect that our heads will be spinning as more and more companies (Yes some on drawing
boards) get into the act. Are there enough writers and filmmakers to fill the
need for good material? The operative word being “good”. Personally, I’m
finding a lot of highly touted efforts from the producers like Netflix are pretty
dismal, and appear basically play-dates for director experimentation.
The Answer:
#1 is Frida Lingstad of ABBA Next is Karen Carpenter
followed by Agnetha Faltskog (also of ABBA), Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks,
Barbra Streisand, Olivia Newton John, Helen Reddy, Carly Simon and #10 Vikki
Carr. The next ten are Shirley Bassey, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Donna
Summer, Kate Bush, Anne Murray, Debbie Harry, Cass Eliot, Connie Francis and
Nicollette Larson. Going to 25, we have Dionne Warwick, Joan Baez, Petula
Clark, Judy Collins and Elke Brooks. I think that the lister got some of his
decades mixed up. What about Roberta Flack who was very strong with several great
song hits and is but #49. Also down the list, were forces Bonnie Rait and Grace
Slick. And Emmylou Harris, who I like, dwelled down at #30.
Music is personal. But
lists are controversial.
Three of them:
