The empty seats at the New Snow-White movie probably suggest that “woke" is over. The majority of people don't want their lives rewritten.

Speaking of tunes embedded in your mind, there are two jingles still playing in the grey matter -- Pepsi and Chaquita Banana. What are the first two lines of those enduring jingles that for me have never gone away?

The Pepsi jingle was a huge success first appearing in 1939.
“Pepsi Cola hits the Spot, Twelve full ounces, that’s a lot”. (Coke only had six-ounce bottles. “I'm Chaquita Banana and I've come to say, you say, Bananas have to ripen in a certain way.” The idea of the tune was to teach people how to buy fresh bananas. It was first sung by in 1944 by Patti Clayton. Chaquita Banana, the United Fruit Mascot, was created by Dik Browne who also has given us comics Hi and Lois, Beatle Bailey and Hagar the Horrible.
