Pretzels and Mustard,

Today;s Tids Issue 5,790

Dancing in Daisies:

It is one of those days that makes you just feel like livin’. Maybe I can keep the Tids mellow too.

I live in a postage stamp size state. But yesterday I drove about twenty minutes south of here. And it was a spring spectacle and when returning home it was still a winter wasteland. You can always get away from something. I thought it was kind of cool.

If you want to buy bagels cheap buy them about a half hour before the bagel store closes. They’re still good. But be nice.

About 30 years ago I bought Lynx 3 and 5 fairway woods in Myrtle Beach SC. I asked the guy why they were so cheap. He said, “It was last year's model. Now 30 years later they still work fine and that extra year doesn't make a hint of a difference.

The Question:

NFL Draft tomorrow, so why not a draft question. What player consistently comes up as the worst NFL Draft pick of all time? Name the other four in the top five worst

One of the nation’s more astute observers of human inconsistencies and reliabel Tids reader asks the Question: “Why does ‘Maryland Man’ need an Interpreter?”

Enforcing Student loans is a good thing. Borrowing requires paying back. That’s just the way it works. Not heres the money take it and run and hide. Apparently form what I hear and read, the new trend is walking away from debts. Part of the problem is that America has gotten too expensive too fast. And part of the problem is easy credit. But, making America Great is imbuing the nation with a sense of responsibility.

In case you are counting billionaires, Founder of Scale AI, Lucy Guo, just passed Taylor Swift as youngest ever self-made Billionaire. A billion is a billion whether first, second or twentieth. Keep me in mind.

I wouldn't trust RFK Jr with an autism registry. Americans should only be registered as Americans.

The Chef of a restaurant being a James Beard Award winner or nominee has no baring on whether not I'll go there. If Joe Greasy Spoon makes the best gravy, that's where I’m going.

If the Tariffs bring in enough money to eliminate or dramatically reduce income taxes, the average Americans will probably have trouble affording anything. What that old advice, There’s no such thing as a free lunch ?

When I watched news of California wildfires a I always thought that Pine Barren of southern Jersey are just waiting for lightning strike or flipped cigarette.

Steven Wright went on a picnic with his girlfriend. He didn't know how she did it, but she got poison ivy on her brain. The only way she could scratch it was to think about sandpaper.

Hey, we needed a change of pace.

The Answer:

Ryan Leaf is the consensus worst of all time.  The others are Tony Mandarich, JaMarcus Russell, Trey Lance and Zach Wilson tied, and number 5, Jeff George. I thought one of the all-time busts was Art Schlicter. Too bad he couldn't wait... this his era! And how about the worst draft day trade when Baltimore sent John Elway to Denver!

Trees are starting to bud.

Speaking of my favorite things, maybe you’’ll enjoy Ahmad Jamal like I always have. It’s a mellow day.
