Incomplete:

Today's Tids Issue 5,805

Along the way:

The ideals that are basic to perfection are always being redefined. I wrote that because I was playing around with the word Perfect. Like one day you think everything is perfect and then it isn't. Like if humans are involved can you ever achieve the word that means flawless. These are the kind of thoughts that flow when looking at a blank screen wondering if there are any Tidlets left to say.

Regardless, I hope your day is perfect considering any possible limitations to such a lofty goal.

How many great friends have we all had? How much time do we spend wondering what they are doing now, instead of reaching out to find them.

I’m friends with 25 letters of the alphabet. I don't know y.

The Question:

The PGA Begins today. Name all the Multiple winners of tis Grand Slam Tourney

The Headlines:

--Walmart Q1 Comes In Mixed; Biggest Retailer Warns of Price Hikes Due to “Magnitude of Trump Tariffs”; Three Major Indices Falling.

--Fed's Powell Says, “US may be Entering Period of More Frequent and Persistent Supply Shocks.”

--President Says US is close to Nuke Deal with Iran.

--Putin Doesn’t Show; Ukraine Peace Talks Fruitless.

--Gabbard Fires Officials Who released Copy of Memo Refuting Trump Venezuela Gang Claims.

Does “Perfect Stranger” mean total unknown person or a flawless individual you've never met.

The PGA Championship begins today. This is one of the big ones made bigger now as it draws back LIV players like DeChambeau, Reed, Michelson, Rahm, Koepka and many more former PGA Tourney champs. The Odds makers have Scheffler and McIlroy on top with DeChambeau, Rahm, Schaufele and Justin Thomas right behind. The sentimental favorites will be Jordan Spieth who with a win here at Quail Hollow would join Rory and the other five as the only career grand slam winners. Should be a good one.

Irony, Department:

Nothing is perfect. Judges are seeking to use the SCs decision on Trump presidential immunity to protect their own actions against government persecution. This will be an interesting new case to watch. So, Trumps pleas for immunity may now aid these judges fighting him doing the business that judges do. Jeez, there is so much to watch.

Did you hear about the crow that was organizing a party for all his crow friends? He was arrested for attempted murder

Creative Stifling, Department:

Trump just fired Shira Perlmutter who has run the US Copyright Office since 2020. It's all about AI and a loophole that would allow AI to use concepts of published work and music to produce competing creative works without theoretically breaking copyright laws directly. This is very disturbing to those in the creative fields who do it by themselves. It is something to watch down the line. How many things are we watching now?

This is about the time of year you hear the old complaint, “We don’t seem to have Springs anymore.” Well, I'll tell you one thing, It isn’t winter and it isn't summer. So, it must be something. So, I'll just redefine the perfections is it supposed to represent and say, regardless, it must be Spring all over again.

The Answer:

Walter Hagen and Jack Nicklaus each won 5. Tiger won 4. Thise who won 3 are Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead and Brooks Koepka. There are 17 who won 2 including three playing today, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy and Phil Michelson. Some of the others are Ray Floyd, Ben Hogan, Lee Trevino, Byron Nelson, Gary Player and Vijay Singh. Oops. I guess I shouldn't play favorites. The rest of the double winners are Nick Price, Larry Nelson, Dave Stockton, Paul Runyon, Danny Shute, Leo Diegel and Jim Barnes. Come to think of it, when I was a kid there was a line of Leo Diegel golf clubs.

Well, this Tids was far from perfect, but there may be a thought or two worth considering.

I always thought this singing moment from A Star is Born was a pretty Perfect beginning for a film, Yet the ending was far from perfect for me. Perfection changes:
