Today's Tids Issue 5,801

I went to a tulip farm yesterday. It was quite a place hidden down a country road not far from here. Its amazing how comforting walking through fields of tulips can be. The world needs more of that, places to go without influencers.
Or everybody stopping to eat ice cream together.
It didn’t take long to elect the new Pope. An American. A native English speaking man who only spoke in Italian and Spanish at his first presentation to the masses in the square. He was clearly saying I am the Pope for all. It can be no other way.
The Question:
What Italian foods do you think Americans like best?

Whoops. Department:
I think India is thinking it miscalculated a bit its response to a Pakistani Group’s attack on Tourists in India.
Well, its Friday and tomorrow if the rain lets up it should be a good day for planting. It's about that time in New England.
The older you get the more you realize how inane global and personal friction really is. I mean really, it is.
If politicians could be more like the Pope and not set factions against each other for personal advancement, the world would be a far better place.
The University of North Carolina just banned Bill Belichick's 24 yo girlfriend form all football facilities. From what I've read about her, that makes infinite sense to me. That is if NC hired BB to win football games. (Note: Since I wrote the above Tidlet, UNC has publicly refuted the claim about Banning GF. But maybe not in their hearts.) What a mess.
Did you see where Xi was standing up there next to Putin at Russia’s Victory Day parade in Red Square. Among the other 20 countries represented were North Korea, and yes Brazil and Venezuela on our side of the Ocean. Feeling comfortable yet?
I try to find events to attend during the week. Weekend event crowds just take the fun out attending some of the big outdoor celebrations around here. That's why I'm old now – to do things pleasantly during the week.
I'm with Repub Senator Thom Tillis who said he could not vote for Washington DC US Attorney nominee Wilson because he could never support a man who would condone an attack our Capitol. The President dove into Fox News again for his replacement, Jeanine Pirro. I don't mind her, but Fox news again? That’s a whole other story. She has bounced around on her opinions about the Capital attack.
But Fox news, again.
Just because nobody complains doesn’t mean all parachutes are perfect.
The Answer:
Spaghetti and Meatballs is number one. We then have Lasagna, Macaroni and Cheese, Fettuccini Alfredo, Pasta with Tomato Sauce, Pasta with Chicken and Garlic Sauce, Caeser Salad, Tortellini, Baked Ziti, Pizza Marguita, Angel Hair with Shrimp, Stuffed Manicotti, Pasta with Pesto Sauce Bruschetta, Pasta with Vodka Sauce and Pasta Putanesca. Me, I like Veal saltimbocca and Chickwn Francaise. I also like Veal Gorgonzola and chicken parm. At times I feel like I live in another dimension as I don't agree with so many lists of what are common to people.
Have a Great Weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
Especially all of you Mothers with a capital “M”! I hope you are all coddled nicely.
It's about time I played this:
