Any day now.

Today's Tids Issue 6,853

Adagio:

The initial effects of change

May drive us completely insane

But when the fury settles Down

We can wallow in apathy again.

How come when a teen commits a heinous brutal murder on an innocent woman the authorities say we cannot release his name because he is underage. I can understand not releasing the name of a kid who stole a pack of gum from a drugstore because there is hope for Rehabilitation

The nation has its eyes on the Ohio governor election. The odds makers have Vivek Ramaswamy way ahead, but with strong competitors like Heather Hill and Jim Tressel. What’s important here is that Vivek has promised to make Ohio the most attractive state for business, like Texas and Florida. How many blue states which have sold their souls to progressives will see that light and see business and not government as the key to the state's future. RI, probably doesn't have a chance.

A weasel walks into the bar. The Bartender says, “Wow, I’ve never served a weasel before. What can I get you?” “Pop” goes the weasel. (From a good friend who loves to laugh)

The Question:

Larry Ellison of Oracle just topped Mark Zuckerberg to move into second place on te latest list of the richest people in the world. Who are the rest of the top ten?

The Headlines:

--Nas May pause After Setting New Record; Earning Season Positive with Today 3M, American Express and Charles Schwab coming in with Very Strong Reports; Feds Waller Suggesting July Rate Cut; Markets Stagger Late After Trump Pushes for Higher EU Tariffs.

--Trump Diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency; Considered Common and Controllable.

--Inside Look at Israel Government Shows Netanyahu Losing Control Ahead of Next Elections.

--Trump Signs Crypto Regulation Bill.

--CBS Shuts Down “Late Night" for Good.

--Cist of ObamaCare to Soar as Subsidies Disappear.

With JD Vance being the deciding vote in the Senate the past couple of big issues, you can see now how tough the 2026 elections might be for Repubs.

I get notifications of breaking news on my phone all day long. One yesterday on top under Breaking News” read: “Pittsburgh Steelers Dillon has his swagger Back. That ls what we have come down to. I could writeBreaking News” or “Alert” or similar hyperbolic inducement headlines' for an entire Tids and all you would do is laugh... or is that cry. Where have we gone wrong

Trump made $16 million suing CBS. Now he is vowing to sue Wall Street Journal for their article about his alleged note to Epstein, Litigation happy DT is beginning to look like RI.

I'm not saying that Trump seems to be intent on micromanaging the country, but yesterday we learned he wants Coke to replace Corn Syrup with Cane Sugar. What's he going to tell the farmers to plant instead of corn?

A man marches into a magic forest with a saw and sets about cutting down a talking tree. “You can’t cut me down,” the tree protests. “I’m a talking tree!” The man responds, “You may be a talking tree, but you will dialogue.”

You probably read that CBS cancelled the Colbert Show coincidentally just after the comedian assaulted them for paying Trump to sett;e a suit.$16 Mil. CBS management says that had nothing to do with it. The real fact is that CBS and other late night Comedy shoes are getting trounced by the Fox News late night comedy show starring GutfeldI thought Colbert was funnier when he was on the Jon Stuart Daily show

It isnt surprising to see “Late Night" disappearing forever. The younger generations just find stuff that intrigues them on their phones and the old former core audience are now sound asleep well before late Night comedy begins

They tell me that the new Crypto regulation bill just signed by the Prez will give me more confidence in something I don't understand at all and likely never will. Unless somebody tries to scam with it. Then I’ll learn fast.

I will also never understand the scoring on the Tour de France, and my life's future doesn’t depend upon me learning it. But for two days Irishman Healey wore the yellow jersey over mighty Slovenian Podegar and today Podegar is on top, and Healey is not in the top ten.

China is more than happy I believe to grind out their own economic future. They have been sowing seeds across the planet for decades. In a recent report on the advances of the China economic plan, there was a thorough report of their Industrial Park in Ethiopia that contains 113 factories. In one factory there were 3000 Ethiopian workers at sewing machines. Chinese Middle Manager commented: “This use to be us.

The Answer:

Ellison owns 40% of Oracle Stock which has been on a tear for the last several weeks. Here’s the rest of the top ten richest: Despite taking losses of $66 Billion this year, Musk is still number One. Then we have Ellison, Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Steve Balmer, Larry Page, Bernard Arnault, Sergey Brin, Jensen Huang NVidia, the hot one) and Warren Buffet. What... no Bill Gates? Larry Ellison has a house in Newport RI and has spent $100 Million over the past five years making it livable

Have a Great Weekend. E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!

Sorry to hear of Connie Francis Death She was a big star. I was gong to end with one of her songs, but I didn’t like any of them

Actually, I liked Joni James better. She died in 2022. Here is her number one Hit as she sang it on the Ed Sullivan Show.
