It really is beautiful.

Today's Tids Issue 5,842

Vanilla Butterscotch:

I hope you are all ready to celebrate America. It is a Red, White and Blue day tomorrow and for me there has always been something special about it. Maybe it was the parades and fireworks i knew as a kid, but even as I get older, I feel something I never feel on any other national holidays. Like its pure America for everyone equally. Whether you disagree with soothing or not everybody can relate for the fight for independence; be proud of what freedom means; with the founders of this country who courageously and profoundly wrote the Declaration of Independence. So just enjoy te colors flying and a lot of the special down-to-earth foods of the day, And most of all, don't hate anything.

How come new improved stuff is breaking much more often than old behind the times well-made stuff ever didf

If Colonel Sanders ends up in hell as many vegans would wish, he has two choices – original or extra crispy.

I’m thinking about the 4th of July and Ice Cream.

The Question:

Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?

The Headlines:

--June Jobs report Says 147,000 Added Versus Economists' estimates of 106,000; Unemployment Declines to 4.1%; Most New Jobs from Government and Healthcare.

--Markets Flat as “Liberation Day2” Looms.

--House Vote On Trumpp BBB Approaching Last Minutes Before Arbitrary Deadline; Hakim Jefferies Has House Floor in Long Speech To delay Vote.

--Supreme Court Agrees to Hear Caes Involving Transgender Athletes.

--4 Killed, 14 Injured in Chicago Drive by Shooting.

--US Dollar Continuing to Fall at Faster Rate; Now at lowest Point since 1973.

--Showdown Between Dalai Lama and China Imminent; Communist Party Threatens Imprisonment DL Followers as Ongoing Dissatisfaction Continues.

Writing was easier when it wasn’t sinful to type “Mankind” as meaning everybody.

It always bothers me when I see people cheering creeps like Diddy. And the media will keep this story going even though the news is over.

Mass hiring in June doesn't seem that unusual to me as tourist locatios always load up on employees. In Newport Ri though, many of the new seasonal hires are from Ireland and even eastern countries like Romania.  And of course, college kids lookin gfor ways to pay for beer and Taquilla.

Speaking of beer and Taquilla, the head of the USA’s most popular beers company Corona and Modelo says that the Trump Immigration deportation program is killing sales. So basically teh deportation program is to make Budweiser Healthy Again/

And in Walmart yesterday I found that brands akin toTostidos” dominated the snack food aisle. Potato chips were in fact hard to find. Make Potato chips visible again. Corn over spuds is un-American.

One of the hot industries is the manufacturing of floating five-star luxury hotels also known as Mega Yachts. Sales have been booming since covid days. They are officially yachts 80 feet and up, but lately big demand has been for mammoth ships 176 feet and up.

My mind is in holiday mode so I'm not up to analyzing the problems with the declining US dollar.

I'm finning myself writing notes to Google’s new AI search system mainly telling this genius in the sky that they are as dumb as they come consistently assuming something not there. And it always writes back as arrogant and condescending as ever.

The Answer:

There was a committee of five who were responsible for producing the document that would justify the 13 North Amercan colonies break with Great Britain. Thomas Jefferson was assigned to write the first draft. That was accepted after corrections added by Ben Franklin and John Adams. Also on the committee were Robert Livingston and Roger Sherman. Of course, you know that Jefferson and Admas both died on July 4th, with Admas death on the fiftieth anniversary of the great document.

I’m thinking I deserve to have a lot of ice cream this weekend. Hope you all find something extra delicious to enjoy. And especially a few good laughs and a lot of pride for where we are.
