Are you all ready for Musk’s “American Party”? Mark Cuban is thinking about it. So is DT’s old pal Scaramucci says he’d be willing to pitch in. Hey why not. Depending on the way you look at it we already have 4 or 5 parties just by classifying people as consecutive or liberals and subdividing them into moderates and various levels of extremes.

The Summit for BRICS is taking place now in Brazil. BRICSs is an economic association of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. It was expanded rentoly to include Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia and Indonesia. The BRICS website also calls Saudi Arabia a member. The news right now is that Iran is their looking to become a member follow the destruction of the intense conflicts. The other intriguing news coming out today is that Xi wasn't there. Remember I mentioned last week that Xi seems to be in the shadows more, Is it a coup or an illness. That is the question. 

 

Our lovable TPL tells me he only sings in the car while going in reverse. He's a back up singer.  

 

The BRICS’ Alliance is also compared by some to NATO, but there is a huge difference NATO is Military centric while BRICS is economic growth centric. I believe that BRICS is a must watch scenario. Hey, they could get around tariffs by trading among themselves. The total population of just the 5 original BRICS is 3.25 billion or over 40% of the world population! Something to watch. 

 

There will always be ills in society as long as there are people who don’ return shopping carts to the shopping cart collection stations. 

 

BTW, despite the trumpets, the “BBB: does not eliminate taxes on Social Security. It established a new deduction that could effectively eliminate taxes associated on SS.  

 

I wonder how my kids survived. I didn't know there were 17 different concepts of parenting. Yeah, the most popular today is "Elephant Parenting”. Say what? I am behind the times for sure. Elephant parenting is a style of parenting that “prioritizes forming close bonds and maintaining communication while still allowing the children freedom to explore. Sounds logical. I hope parents aren't paying for that advice. I'm not getting into the other parenting styles but some of the other hot parenting fads are called, Panda, Tiger, Dolphin, Octopus and of course Helicopter. today we have names and slots for everything, while in the past we just did things.  

 

At one point in the John Deere Golf Tourney this weekend, 37 players at the top were within 3 strokes of each other. Every one of them had a shot and it made it very interesting. In the big money tournaments that suck in the stars you may have Scottie or Rory running away with it in a triumphant march to the finish. But, no mystery 

 

In my estimate the best TV fireworks program on the fourth was that on PBS which showed all the magnificent explosions with all the great patriotic music, pure and simple. The NBC broadcast of NYC had too much pop music and Fox blew it by turning it into the Trump show.  

 

After the tariff announcement of today, Japan and South Korea may want to join BRICS. 

 

Remember when $1000 was a lot of money to pay for something. I was going to write, remember when 25 cents was a lot of money; when a quarter was a prized possession.

And yes, he did name it after the atoll famous for ABomb testing.
