Just there.

Today's Tids Issue 5,628

Private personal thoughts:

The unsealing yesterday of the court documents that have persecutors accusing Trump of “Criminal" activities with regard to the 2020 election was not political. Of course not . Who would think of such a thing.

Hillary must be going ballistic internally thinking that Kamala not her could be te first female president. She should have been friendlier towards the puppeteer, Obama.

Supposedly intelligent people pew a lot of bs when trying to explain the meaning of art. Just look at it and enjoy it.

A man and a wizard are having a dispute. In a fit of rage, the wizard places a curse on the man. "Now you can only speak using the names of animals!" Shouts the wizard. The man replies, "Whale, owl bee."

The Question:

Somethings just exist within it or themselves and yet people spend lifetimes trying to give meaning to something that doesn’t need to be explained. The irrelevancy industrial complex.

There is no meaning in life for TidsPickers. It’s just fun. Last week we were 11-5 with some good picks against the experts and disappointments like Buffalo, though in the back of my mind I feared Baltimore. We are at 38-26 (59.4%). In looking over this week's slate, I see more close games than I can remember in any year past. Tonight's game should be good, and it is meaningful --- TB and Atlanta. One of many coin flips today. My gut says Tampa Bay. If the Jets were living up to experts' preseason raves their game against Minn will be a doozy. But Minn and Jet’s discarded QB Darnold will win it. Baltomore-Cinn is another game that should have been great. I think Baltimore is too tough for the Bengals. Buffalo fell off a pedestal last Sunday. Houston is scrounging by trying ot returnto last year’s surprising heights. I'll have to go with Buffalo. Green Bay against the Rams is another hig visibility game. The Rams are a mystery and Green Bay beyond QB woes is a well-built team. I’ll take the Pack. Another great game for this week will be the Chiefs and the Saints. The Saints have been better than expected, and KC found ways to win at the end. Is this the week that the Magician can't find the rabbit? Nope. KC takes it.

These are some so-called better more meaningful games among lesser teams. Though Jax against Indy is mainly meaningful for their self-esteem. Yet, they still have a chance in their weaker division AFC South. I just don't know. I'll say Jax final ly gets that first win. Cleveland has disappointed and Washington has put it together. I'll stay on the DC bandwagon. Coach Peyton has the Broncs playing well and winning while LV seems lost. I'll take Denver. Gotta take San Fran over Arizona. Geno Smith keeps on surprising at QB for Seattle and NY Giants aren't there yet. I'll stay with Seattle. Dallas against Pitt has the earmarks of a great tussle. But both teams have proven how easy it is to lose. I consider this another tossup with the Steelers finding a way. Better coach. Chicago is taking steps towards respectability, and they will take the very ordinary Panthers, In the Hospital Bowl. New England just got worse with the loss for the year of their best O Lineman and team leader, David Andrews. I'm picking Miami even though the Pats probably see this as one of their few chances this year for another win. I don't think my beloved have the horses

Do you think Social Security will keep up with the increase in Dockworker wages?

Did you hear about the guy who was having trouble finishing his book on teh history of Beer, he went through too many drafts.

I like listening to people l know well tell of things they do quietly without fanfare to help other people. And I think, why aren’t I doing that.

Wow, three sweeps in the baseball playoffs and pretty improbable at that. KC and Detroit were dead two months ago and now they have eliminated the powerful Astros and Orioles. And San Diego took out the Mighty Atlanta Braves. Isn't playoff baseball fun! Aren’t sports better when teams don’t follow the script.

Am I missing something, or does Kamala have a lot more ads out there than Trump?

Founder of Rhode Island Roger Willians was banned from Massachusetts because of his views that promoted separation of Church and state and Freedom of Religion. This forward thinker was banned by the same people who were forced to escape across an ocean to avoid religious intolerance in their own country. And nothing has changed. Really. People still only hear what’s good for themselves and not the truth, or what’s good for all.

Hitler hated blond jokes.

With the inevitability of Tech advances defining employment, temporary jobs may be the thing of the future.

The Answer:

I actually found several lists. Many only looked at recent shows and mainly the popular streams, not necessarily full, multiple seasons\ TV shows. So here's the answer on one list: Sherlock, Twilight Zone, House of Anubis, Midsomer Murders, Stranger Things, Supernatural, Psych, Monk, The Mentalist, and #10, Broadchurch. Going on we have Columbo, Sherlock Hilmes, Murder She Wrote, Scooby Doo Where are You, Criminal Minds, Agatha Christie's Poirot, X-Files, Perry Mason, AC’s Marple, and then to #25 we have Blacklist, Rockford Files, Endeavor and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Others just up the line are Person of Interest, NCIS, Castle, Remington Steel, Magnum PI (Original) and the wonderful Avengres of 1960s with Emma Peel.

For all the people who may be sitting there nervously for news about somebody in a hospital, here's a quiet tune to calm the nerves. It's called “Beside You”.  And somebody always is. Somewhere.
